How does automatic renewal work?

I'm wondering how automatic renewal works.  Will I be notified before the auto-billing happens?  If there a fee for this convenience?

Good question, Sandy! AARP Automatic Renewal ensures that access to your member benefits is continuous and eliminates renewal notices in your mailbox. We will always send you a reminder notice before we bill you, and that reminder will be sent 30-60 Days before your membership expires.
