Membership Reinstatement when I am Already a Member

I received a letter today from AARP - "Over the past few weeks we've been reminding you to restore your AARP membership.  You still have not responded and now our records indicate that your membership has expired".  They provided me with my membership number.  Problem is I have not received any reminders.  Further problem is I renewed my membership on April 29.  I received an email thanking me for renewing my membership.  This was a day before it was set to expire.  Same membership number that was on my expired membership letter.  What gives - are they trying to make me think that I did not renew just to get more money.  This is frustrating.

You can limit communication etc…. Go to the Privacy Hub.  You’ll see the way to get to it all the way at the bottom of the web page footer.  Once there you can control some of the privacy and communications.  Look for AARP Privacy Hub and Your Privacy Choices.  Screenshot below.

I agree it’s annoying, but at least you can control somewhat.
