👍 WHATEVER YOU CONSIDER TO BE YOUR HIGHER POWER! (God or something else)
Shimmy over to the passenger seat, put on your seat belt, wind down the window, feel the breeze on your face and just enjoy the ride.
Let your HIGHER POWER do the driving.
Your HIGHER POWER wants you to live your greatest life and it knows the way you should be going in order to get there.

🏡 Some of us have SOLD our homes or PLANNING to. Any tips to share with us? 🤔
(My 2 cents) Try to explore [safety check] where YOU WANT to move to and try to move "nearer" to folks who CARE about you. Trust me, all of this helps to LESSEN our "stress" and hopefully gives us "peace of mind"... 💃💃💃

👤 ABOUT US!
▶️*** Discussions about life and NOT just about grief ***◀️
(1) WE (folks who have lost someone/a pet they CARED about) support and share advice with EACH other. NO judgements, just luv and compassion.
(2) Some of us are still grieving YEARS after our loss and that is okay! Everyone's journey is unique. Grief has no agenda. 👍
(3) The person we cared about may have been a family member, significant other, neighbor, friend, co-worker, even a pet and so on. Bottom line, WE MISS them....

Interesting day for me as I signed the burial agreement to have my wife's ashes placed in the niche we bought a few years ago. She'll be near her mom and other family members. Its been 6 months and I'm ready for this next step. I'll drive up to Ohio on 12/12. The sun is shining now after a cold rainy morning. I know she would be happy and urge me to place her there. Seems like this year is a blur at times.
Hope you all have a great weekend and let the sun shine on your lives, Bill

What has HELPED you the most on YOUR Healing Journey so far? 🤔
(1) ME: My daughter, this AARP Grief & Loss Forum, reading, chatting with "random" folks at Walmart 😎 and praying.
(2) MC @mc6844 wrote:
I agree. And I think prayer is the key.

Things that have helped me include: family, friends, singing in a chorus, being out in nature, reading, attending a bereavement group, interacting with people on the Grief & Loss forum, volunteering in the community, and reigniting my spirituality (not in a hierarchical order.) Marcy

What ADVICE would you give to someone who is GRIEVING? 🤔
(1) My 2 cents: Reach out to folks who CARE about you! 👍

Remember, and if you close your eyes for just a minute, they will feel like they are right there. The right people in your life will always listen. Even if you cry each time it's ok,cause one day you will laugh at the silly moments in time that we were so fortunate to have. Blessed it Be.

🚵🏊🎾 The Experts say EXERCISE (what YOU enjoy) will HELP us "physically, emotionally, mentally" on our HEALING JOURNEY. Any opinions? 🤔
(1) I know Marcy had mentioned TENNIS.
(2) Cadee @Cadee2719 ZUMBA.
(3) And me, daily INSIDE (yes, so NOT into the Florida Alligators who seem to be taking over 😱) WALK to Bob Marley Reggae Music and Staple Singers. I have a Chart on my wall which I "check" EACH day = so I can SEE my progress. So far, have NOT missed a day, even when I got my Pfizer Vaccine this month. 😎
▶️*** Okay, MY OPINION - yes, yes and yes!!! 👍 Has helped me in ALL 3 AREAS. Lol, but I still have days I really DO NOT want to walk but DO..... ***◀️

NO NO NO I do not do ZUMBA! I would be laying flat on the floor, gasping for breath.😂 I do Stretching Exercises, Strength Exercises, Balance Exercises. However, with the leg pain I have had to stop all of them till I find out what I am dealing with. I see the doctor on December 21st. The exercises I do are provided on line through my insurance; it is called Silver Sneakers.

I have designated reading and prayer time each evening. It helps me to relax and get my mind set on a positive track. I find this routine to be beneficial for me to sleep.
