BEWARE OF ROYAL CARIBBEAN GIFT CARDS They give you a hard time redeeming them. You must pay first, then use the Gift Card if they let you. The gift card does not apply to all cruises, especially with discounts. What a scam.

After reading some older posts about the trouble with the Royal Caribbean gift card/certificate through AARP I think maybe I'll just pay with a cc instead...
