BEWARE: Don't buy giftcards here.

Similar to @DanielleT737856 we purchased gift cards and have not received any confirmation email or receipt of the gift card purchased.  We have $920 locked up right now.

 

We successfully purchased on Friday last week, but were not so lucky on our purchase last night.

 

We have been told everything from 24 hrs to 1-3 days, to 3-5 days.  The T&C that was posted says most are delivered within 24 hrs.  It further states that AARP can basically choose to delay delivery as long as they deem necessary, at their discretion, without any reimbursement or compensation.

@AndrewB228832 Good Luck.  A couple things learned in this process.  Make loud noise often on this chat and every phone number you can get a hold of.    I did get the cards last night.  You can't rely on the 24 hour turn around, but you absolutely HAVE to escalate or who knows if you get your merchandise.  Personally, if I use this service again, I will make sure to give weeks to receive, since I'm not sure if it was my crankiness that got results, or just the process, I will call immediately after 24 hours.

@AndrewB228832 is my brother and we are traveling together. His purchases went through. Mine have not. I have called multiple times. I have tried to get a hold of Magda. I have chatted with reps. I have talked to Princess. I have spent hours trying to get what I purchased. 

I really want to be happy with this, but the longer I wait, the more this feels like something very wrong. It doesn’t seem like it should be hard to deliver eCards when my credit card company has verified that AARP accepted the thousand dollars I paid.
