AARP Eye Center
This is just the latest reason I may not renew my AARP membership. I haven't even gotten through a year without one issue after another. No contact info given at bottom of page to report website technical issues. I suppose the big wigs are all floating around on yachts and can't afford to hire or pay good and competent programming and IT people. I don't have a lot of time left on this Earth and paying even a small amount to AARP to waste this much of my time is starting to make me feel dumber than dirt. Yeah, I won't be renewing for the technical reasons and also because they don't even cater to people in my area or socioeconomic status (below poverty). Everything they suggest is miles away and I can't go miles away. I suppose it's just for middle class and up, people with money and who already have plenty of resources. I don't belong here and don't need them to keep reminding me of that fact by all their *teasing* with trips and discounts and sweepstakes. It's a scam like most everything else capitalists sell IMO. Unfortunately they'll just keep hounding me even after I'm dead to rejoin, lol! Why not? They did it to my Dad who passed away. Would get the mail begging him to rejoin and leave me in tears. These people have no shame. Anything that grows TOO BIG becomes corrupt. I'm done ๐
AARP's website has notoriously poor usability. I've not been able to enter either - and there was nothing in my inbox linking to this promotion. We shouldn't have to take any more of our time to report issues when they send an email with two links (a button and a URL), both of which simply reload the homepage (even if I've logged out and logged back in).
