Unable to redeem and play instant wins, haven't gotten Macy's card after the purchase

I have been problems with redemption for 6 days. When I try to redeem I have Oops! An error occurred. Please refresh your browser to get back on track. I tried different computers but had the same message over and over. Also I purchased a Macy's card last Wednesday and haven't received it. I have chatted with AARP agents twice but they weren't helpful. Anyone has the same issues with redemption?

I can understand your frustration, @ElizavetaS25584. I'd like to take a look into your account. Please send me a DM with your email address, so I can check your gift card status. Here is an article that will show you how to activate Private messages: https://aarp.info/47hWcl7. I look forwards to hearing from you. - Daniela R.

Hi, Daniela. I tried to activate Private messages but I was unable to find the Private Messages tab under the Preferences tab. It's missing. Those are what I have.

Hello @ElizavetaS25584 . I want to thank you for posting the links to the settings page. I couldn't figure out how to get to that page and now I'm finally there....thanks to you. I appreciate this very much. Thanks again.

Hi Daniela, I chatted with agents and followed their recommendations to clear cache and cookies but the Private messenger icon still remains missing.

I asked my relatives who recommended me AARP to check their Preferences tab. They do have the Private messages tab between the Privacy tab and Kudos tab. However I don't have one,

I have been having intermittent issues with getting points after completing an activity, most often after playing Codeword but also with other games as well. Then yesterday I played an Instant Win for a Sonic gift card and got the message that I had won but I never got the gift card. I contacted Chat and was informed that it showed I had played but did not show that I had won and there was nothing they could do about it. It seems to me that there is something seriously wrong here.

It means that your account has been locked for fraudulent activity. Good luck, could take weeks for them to correct it. After they correct it, you will get an email with the rules, but they will never tell you which one you violated.

Thank you very much for your response. I have a paid membership. I bought a Macy's card with my own credit card and after the purchase they blocked my account with no reason. Instead of making their website better organized, each their poorly executed maintenance leads to more and more mistakes.

If they decide to tell you.  They like to ghost people.  You get one chance to talk to a real person then it all goes to message that they never reply to.
