I passed on the first 2 high point $5 GC this month, hoping there would be some $10 GC offered.  Still nothing, not even lower point $5 GC, so I went ahead and got this 2nd Amazon one. I'm surprised it's still available after one day.

For those who redeemed for the "1st"  $5 Amazon, were you able to redeem again for the "2nd" $5 Amazon?   Since it's a "new" offering, members should be allowed to do a second redemption even though it's for the same gift card.  Thanks in advance for posting if you were able to get a second $5 Amazon GC.  I'm sitting on the fence wondering if I should bite the bullet and spend my hard earned points on these "expensive" $5 GC's.

Yes I was able to redeem for both.I got both even though I would have liked other options but gift card offerings are slim this month.There may be much better ones coming but I don't have time to stalk the forums hoping to luck up on one so I used my last one for the month.A $5 Walmart card and two $5 amazon for the month.Times are difficult for most companies now so I choose to see any card I get as a bonus.They may have to phase it out eventually.

This was available for an extended period of time.

Yes, it is expensive, however, I was able to redeem

for this until Midnight, because I was checking.

We complain about how gift cards sell out so quickly, yet,

this expensive deal was out there from mid morning until

midnight!

I redeemed it late this afternoon.  It is better than any

of the February Extra Reget-it deals because the Walmart

card is so widely useful, to me at least.

good morning Andrew. What’s with the extremely high priced points only $5 cards all of a sudden. We have seen Walmart & now two (2) very high priced Amazon cards. What’s next Target or Home Depot.
Admin is definitely not making any $10 points only cards available to us this month. These obscene high priced gift cards & no reasonable points only gift cards, being offered is only contributing to the demise of this rewards program. I don’t know if you have noticed, but there seems to have been a shift in the number of Instant Wins being rewarded in the last few months also. No one has posted any positive comments here either but my Instant Wins have definitely dropped off considerably. Just wondering how you are faring with the free method. 
All the fun is gone and it probably won’t be too much longer before they have the  funeral. 😢 😢 😪😪 RIP 🪦⚰️ 🎚️

Thank you.  I got one.  I don't have anything to use my points on so it might as well be this.  At least it is something a can use.  A lot of times it is for a business that isn't even in my state.  Some people have choices, but I live in a area with very little choice.  I still have 1 redemption left for the month.  Hopefully something good comes up.  Wait - hopefully something comes up.

That is the way it is for me too.Most the cards I have no place to use them.I do use Walmart delivery so its easier to use the small cards on their site than most others.I just sign in to my Walmart account and add them to my wallet then they can be used easily at checkout.The Starbucks and Dunkin cards were the same way so I miss those a lot.I won't print or try to apply a small card many places because its usually more trouble than they are worth.But the ones that offer a wallet you can just keep adding them or some even let you merge them to a main card as you add more.I miss all those type cards.But most deals and freebies are leaving everywhere.

Inflation even for free stuff.🙁.I never redeem for $5 cards but the Feb selection has been low and I can use Walmart and half the month is gone.Possibly better ones coming for the last half of the month.But if not I did get this one.I always look at anything that is free as plus.They don't have to offer anything so even a small reward is still a reward.

Thanks AnneG461594, I'll pass on this one as well for now. Unusually low quantity and quality for Instant Redeems this month. Maybe the vendor thought the scavenger hunt was enough. Since the typical early month offers did not happen this month, I wonder if there will be more sweepstakes added tomorrow as lately they have been adding mid month sweepstakes

FWIW All these offers with the exception of the 100 points for CANDYHEARTS are already on the rewards page!  I had a long discussion with AARP about having these "promos" when the items you are hunting for are already on the rewards page.  What is the purpose of a hunt where only one item has new value (the 100 points for CANDYHEARTS)?  Did not get far with AARP about this, also asked why the point value for the rewards is much higher and the value very low, answer was it was all up to the merchant.  Huh?  Asked why don't you consider giving us an extra redemtption when you have these hunts?  For those of us that already redeemed our points for items this type of a hunt is useless.  Considering they do these hunts several times a year, give us a heads up on the last day of the month that next month there will be a contest so maybe hold back redeeming for our overpriced cards and instead see what junk we can entice you to get later next month...guessing they will have an easter or st. pat day one next month...

So the perks from this "game" are 2 sweep/lottery, 3 bags, and 1 point earner.  Sounds like a fun game to me!

No criticism here, but just wondering why you didn't contact customer service about this earlier?  Did you think it wasn't worth the time, or were you still waiting for the item?  Or did you contact them with no results?

I see comments from other people who didn't get this item back in November, but it doesn't sound like any of them did anything about it back then either.  Just wondering how people handle issues like this, since I have only been a member for a few years and haven't had to deal with any of these types of issues so far.

Update to my comment - I see that some other people did get their points re-imbursed earlier, so it looks like that is the only option when something like this happens.
