I have not been able to log in since then. I can log into my AARP Account but not the Rewards. It is disappointing too, because I have points I can't use, and can no longer do the activities. Through Chat, I asked for a ticket to be put in, but I haven't heard anything back and it's still not working. I tried the usual - clear cache, clear cookies, log out and back in, etc. Anyone else have this issue? If yes, has anyone gotten to their account. I only get
"SORRY, WE ARE HAVING TROUBLE ACCESSING YOUR ACCOUNT, Click to login and refresh" and when I do that same message.

@kh5901 The Rewards platform is experiencing an issue that is affecting some of our user profiles that enables them to login/access the Rewards website. Your account is being affected by this issue. We are working to resolve with an estimated completion date towards the end of September. We apologize for the inconvenience this is causing you. I was able to add some points to your AARP Rewards account to make up for the time that you've been unable to access the site. You will see these points reflected in your points balance once you are able to login. Thank you for being a valued part of our family.

@AARPJanelleM - while it was very nice of you to add some points to @kh5901 s account because of this ongoing problem, are you ALSO going to make an adjustment to everyone else on this thread that have had problems accessing the Rewards or were unable to earn points?? That would go a LONG way toward making things right.

Your team really need to learn how to automate your testing when you push out a new release and what the words "smoke testing" means. It would avoid a lot of these types of messes. I can see all sorts of authentication issues, poor renderings, code flag issues, etc. You really need to bring on someone who understands these things.

Come back and try again later today FOR WHAT ?? All the points only gift cards are SOLD OUT. Oh Really !!! ___ the points only gift cards are what most of us are about.
Somebody, be it AARP, HelloWorld, Tech Support, or the entire Management Team but someone should reinstate, replace, or reimburse all the points only rewards gift cards that were in the September Extra Credits. There has to be some accountability for these type of miscalculations.

I do not believe that the rewards showed up directly for anyone during the night. However in "Redeem" then Filter by "Points Only", I could see them. Clicking on Amazon, which I wanted badly, brought me to the 4 activities of that particular lesson which I could not see, let alone access before, but could now complete.
AARP is setting up useless hurdles and certainly should not schedule maintenance the first day of the month if it runs concurrently with the Extra Credit.

Incompetent ! that just about says it all.
I too really wanted the Apple Card but alas, you just watch. When the September Extra Credit gets fixed and starts working and we manage to complete the 75-point quiz “Understanding Electronic Banking Alerts and Notifications.” we are going to get SOLD OUT. If I had a nail right now I could bite that sucker into.

WHY ? Would you not mention in your notification that the September Extra Credits would not be able to be completed at this time. You must have been aware that this was going to cause a lot of unnecessary heartache and frustration. You have to earn an Extra Credit Reward in order to get a confirmation email.

Why on God's green earth would tech support pick this time to do maintenance. They know it will interfere with the September Extra Credits. Nothing changes with these people, they will do everything they possible can to cause heartache.

Sometimes you can find the new Extra Credit cards under Redeem, even if a glitch prevents the new Extra Credit page from renewing to the next month. They are there now.
Click on the card you want, then access the Lesson at the top of the new window.
Make sure the items in the lesson show a value (not just a star)... otherwise it may not record as completed.
Hope that helps.

Thanks for the tip, but I tried everything and nothing works. The last tile in the Extra Credit activity shows the 75 points but when you run it it says Sorry no points.
It's now 5:48 am CST and it is still messed up big time. Also as I suspected the SOLD OUT's are starting to show up already.
I am going back to bed 😡😡😡😡
