Here we go again....

After more than two months of being unable to redeem rewards, now (4/6/26) no one is able to earn points.  Anyone want to take bets on how long it will be "down" this time???

This is all I get when I try to redeem anything for the last 2 months.

I am able to earn points, but unable to redeem...2 months now and several calls and escalation.  No feedback whatsoever...SO I quit and got a refund.  Maybe when they fix this website and have a little better customer support/services I will reconsider joining .   Was a member for almost 8 years.   Hope this will get their attention.

Each one of you affected contacting your state’s Attorney General will.  Look up what they take complaints on, you’d be surprised.  This falls under many of the things you all are affected by, @miknite

So @DavidW708691 Still going on, and it’s been 2 months now.

 

   Makes me ask….. Has anyone who is also experiencing this been told what exactly is causing this?   I mean I know what they’ve been saying to you all, just curious if they say what’s causing this?

 

For it not to be fixed after this long, for so many…makes me truly wonder if they are actively working on it.  And if they are, why in the world would it take this long?  Unfathomable.  Which is why I’m actually wondering if they are now.  2 months?  What takes 2 months+ to fix this?  And if they have fixed it for people before, what makes it so hard each time to continue doing so for others.  Again back to my reasoning.  Just not right, man.

I am having the same problem...I have called rewards # several times and this has been escalated to a technical team for several weeks.  No one responds or will let me know status.   I am considering quitting AARP

I have not been able to redeem for quite awhile now. I have called customer service multiple times and they say tech is working on it.  One rep even told me I was wasting my time calling.  I have points about to expire.  Nice to know I wasted my time earning the points.

Did you get the name of the cs person who told you that you were wasting your time calling, @DavidW708691 ?  That’s a cs person who knows something isn’t right.  And it’s very telling. How long have you been waiting ?

Yes, I have her name, prefer not to post it, but willing to let AARP know if they want it. I have not been able to redeem for about a month and a half.  They keep saying tech will contact you. I told them to have tech comtact me regardless of whether it is fixed or not and have received nothing.  It took over 2 months to get my girlfriend's account fixed the last time. We have been with AARP for 20 years now.

I just meant to create a paper trail in case you needed it.  
I hope it gets fixed.  Not sure if it was you or someone else, but it was suggested to ask them to create a new ID and transfer your points etc, over. And see if that works.  I think someone had mentioned they had it done.

I asked them to do that. They only replied that they were working on my account and that I would be notified.

I've finished 3 different crossword puzzles word wipe, and sports trivia today and received no points! It's been bad enough that Codeword has given me points about once a week for the last 3 months but this is worse. I do these puzzles every day and this is very frustrating.

Hmmmmm... interesting - seems to be back up for now.  Still cannot redeem points.  Anyone else?

It has been very painful today to earn points for games, videos, and quizzes. I had to redo some multiple times and eventually slowly excruciatingly time-consumingly I reached the maximum points allowed. As clearing cookies, rebooting my computer did not help, I think AARP Rewards has an issue today, possibly an intermittent one.
