When are they going to fix the BROKEN rewards site?

This happens every month.  I go out to redeem an earned rewards.  The site makes me take some quizzes or watch some videos.  It says I completed the tasks but when I go to make the redemption it tells me I need to complete the tasks.  I try to do it AGAIN, and it tells me I've already completed it.  I then go back to make the redemption and yet again it says I need to complete the tasks.  Its an annoying endless circle.  Whoever is in charge of the rewards program needs to be replaced.  I've been asking AARP to fix their broken site for over two years.  I get a lot of lip service, but apparently they are too busy getting their commissions from hawking other products to hire someone who actually knows how to build a working website.  When my membership expires I won't be renewing it.  Your rewards program is nothing short of a bait and switch.  BROKEN, BROKEN, BROKEN!  A total waste of our time.

The bigger problem with these rewards is that when they fail, AARP doesn't seem to believe you. Always instruct you to clear your cache, logout & in ... they automatically assume it to be a user error and respond accordingly if they respond at all.

A good way to improve websites is to involve users directly!
I wish that there was someone home at the AARP to hear the users.

I am having the exact same issue of not being able to redeem extra credit points for the gift card I want because it won't register that I have watched one of the required videos. Very frustrating and so unfair.

Unbelievable.  You have to wake up at a ridiculous hour on first day of every month to even have a chance to get a decent reward, and yet they STILL f you over. so ridiculous.

oops meant to say this about not getting credit for watching Extra Credit video even tho' I watched it 2 times, and therefore it thinks I haven't completed all 4 required extra credit requirements, so I cant redeem points for the CVS card.  I'm sure by the time they resolve it, it will be Sold Out, so it will have all been another waste of time / ripoff.  when will I ever learn not to waste my time on this site.

Oh WOW!  I am trying to complete the Sleep your way to a Better You.  I have completed all 4 activities, but it shows I have completed the "Ease your pain with better sleep".  When I click on it, it shows I have watched it.  And I have many times.  But lo and behold when I check my transaction history it doesn't show up.  Instead it shows I have watched "How to start playing pickleball".  I can't even find that video when I do a search.  I know I didn't watch a pickleball video.  And it shows that I watched this video in the middle of the other sleep activities.  Can this site be more messed up?  So I guess no CVS card for me since I can't watch the correct video again for another month. Totally ridiculous !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Experienced the identical glitch.  I did, however, find the other sleep video, and a check appears next to it, indicating that I watched it, yet it is not reflected in my history.  Like you, I did not watch a pickelball video, but that video is also checked.  No CVS card.  Very disappointing.

It's even worse this month.  At least the previous months you were able to redeem by about 1AM Eastern time.  This month it is almost 1:30AM and the problem still exists.

 ... and now it's after 11 AM and the SLEEP YOUR WAY TO A BETTER YOU remains  unresolved with all the offered gift cards still available. Somebody's sleeping.

Also have been having the exact same issues - was praying that when the system was down for 3 weeks in September that maybe someone was fixing these errors - Should have known better!

I give up - glad I never did automatic renewal

in addition to that problem is after watching one of the videos it won't acknowledged that you have completed it so you can't finish the lesson.

 I have completed all the lessons and given credit for it and yet cannot redeem the gift card. It says I need to complete the lesson and I have and it states I have. I thought things would be better tonight but it's the same as always.
