Rewards Videos

Hello!

Since the most recent big "remodel" of the Rewards earning activities pages, I have noticed that there are almost 20 of the videos that either do not load, load on a Spanish-language page (and for some reason do not then grant points), are unclickable, are not marked as "checked off" in the list after I've completed them, or simply do award points upon completion for some unknown reason. They seem to have been loaded incorrectly.

Thanks!

Thank you. I've now clicked on your link and written more about it to the Customer Care rep who initially answered that post. I will remember in future to try to search better before starting a new post - thank you for your help!

dees970583 Thanks for your message and details about not receiving points and loading issues for some videos. There are some reasons why points may not be awarded after watching a video, which you can learn more about here - https://aarp.info/2TdQSxo - For trouble with loading videos, we suggest first clearing your browser's cookies and cache, and trying from another browser. You can find the instructions here - https://aarp.info/2I3wo4C - If you're still experiencing issues after troubleshooting with these steps, please let us know, so we can check on your Rewards account. - Christy C.

Thank you. I have tried cleared my cookies, etc. but at least some of the things I have come across are not that kind of error. I'll post the problem videos here as I come across them.

This one, for example, doesn't have anything to do with cookies or browsers:

https://www.aarp.org/videos/caregiving/5128460295001/

is listed twice under weekly videos, the second time listed incorrectly as "Guided relaxation breating" lasting 7:02 minutes

I do not understand why you want to do this over private messaging. The errors I am pointing out are clearly not a problem with my account. Here is another one:

The video entitled "Protect your privace when using a smart device" is simply not clickable. I really don't see how that can be a problem with my account; it is most likely an error in loading the video to the site.

Please take this as an attempt to help fix these problems: that is my only motivation in pointing these errors out.

There are so many broken links.  I started chronicling them and will present my findings to AARP later but I really don't think they will do anything.  It is always something we did or our device.

I think I am up to 14 bad links so far....I asked them about this a week ago and was told "Sadly we do not have a solution"

I can understand how frustrating this can be, @BtW751689. We would like to take a deep look into those 14 links you have so far and check what's going on. Please send me a private message with your name and mailing address, so I can locate your AARP Rewards account. I look forward to hearing from you soon. - Daniela R.

I understand your frustration, @dees970583. Does this issue occur on all browsers as well? -Ashlyn L

Thank you, Ashlyn.

I tried on both Firefox and Chrome. Same problem both places.

Another weird bunch of broken links for you.

When you - anyone! - clicks on these videos -

   1. "How to assess pain"

   2. "What is Hospital at Home?"

   3. "Tips on mobility at home" and

   4. "How to safely move with a walker"

- they all link to the same page:  https://www.aarp.org/videos/caregiving/

This is NOT a problem with my computer. Someone did not put the correct links "in under" these videos.

In other words, this is an AARP problem, not an individual member problem. Could Customer Service somehow tell someone who can fix this about it?

Thank you.
