How Do I Enable Private Messages in the AARP Online Community?
The AARP Online Community features a private messenger that allows you to send and receive private notes to other community members.
To use this service, you'll need to ensure it's enabled.
A new message to somebody you are conversing with within the private messenger OR somebody you want to send a new message to on this board?
Using Private Messenger. A few people have message me. I received emails stating they messaged me, but I couldn't respond via email and their original messages were not shown on the Messenger Page. Consumer Care responded to a post on this board telling me to contact them via Private Message. The same thing happened: I couldn't respond to the email and all I could locate was an old message on the private message page. I used the reply function, on the old message, to respond.
