This pamphlet from the Social Security Administration should answer all your questions.  It gives examples and has been updated with the new 2019 earnings    limits.

Full Retirement Age

Message 2 of 2

If I start collecting soc. sec. at age 63 and continue to work part time I can make a certain amount of money. Once I have reached the year of full retirement, age 66, what is the amount I am able to make and does it matter that I started soc. sec at age 63?
