"FULFILLMENT REQUEST FAILED"

I am experiencing a new error on the Instant Win games today, and coincidentally,  it comes at the end of the month of July.....FULFILLMENT REQUEST FAILED.   I hope this is not a preview of what we will experience at the beginning of the new month of August.

 

Update:  The Fulfilment Request Failed on the Instant Win games was experienced again on August 31, 2025.  It appears this error is continuing to happen at the end of the month.

I am having the same problem. (Maybe not the same problem after all.)

 

The message I am getting is:

Sorry, we are experiencing longer than expected delays in your point redemption. Please check your transaction history in a couple of minutes to confirm if your redemption was successful. Thank you for your patience. 

 

The points are not being deducted and do not show up in the transaction history.

Same problem here, but I was able to process my daily entries on the sweepstakes I have been doing this month

Today is 8/31/2025, and the "Fulfillment Request Failed" is happening on all the instant win games again. Hope it is fixed soon.

The Fulfillment Request Failed error on the Instant Win games was experienced again on August 31, 2025.  This is an occurrence that seems to happen at the end of the past 2 months (July & August).

Been alternating between this message and the "taking too long" message since the wee morning hours. At least last month it worked within a few hours of the initial problem for me. Also redeemed for the Papa John's reward a couple hours ago and no email yet.

@AARPConsumerCare - it would be a simple task to have IT run a program to see who had purchased cards and gotten Extra Credit cards using points when the system is fixed, particularly if the people who did so see the points redemptions in their transaction history.  Is there a plan to do this?  I do not want to lose my points or one of my three redemptions for the month

 I recently joined AARP. Instant Wins not working, unable to redeem rewards and unable to     enter any sweepstakes. I called AARP on 8/25.  The representative said the issue will be   addressed in 10 days.  I'm sure that means 10 "business days", so I sit...patiently waiting,

X-ing out the days on the calendar.  And yes...I do have a paper calendar.

I have the same problem.  And the sad thing is they won't be available until Tuesday.  I hate to think what will happen tonight for the September Extra Credit.

[9/3/25] Thank you SO MUCH AARP Christy @AARPConsumerCare for letting us KNOW what is going on!!!    The "silence" on the part of AARP has NOT been fair to members. What would be totally AWESOME is IF we ALL would receive an EMAIL when site is back up. Very unfair we are expected to CHECK on the site to see IF it is up. Anyway, thanks for responding to Kenneth's @KennethG683811 post.    Nicole!

After clicking on the instant win free entry method link, a bad request error appears on the screen. 

Something wrong with the instant wins right now.

Bath & Body Works, and Columbia, Five Guys, Skechers, Aeropostale, Camping World, and Macy's all have the "Fulfillment Request Failed" error. In other words, all the instant wins available today to play, if they were working.

I can understand your frustration, @AmyD648127. We experienced an issue with Instant Wins where attempts failed; however, no points were deducted from your balances. The AARP Rewards site is currently down for maintenance, thank you for your patience. - Diana G.

Same here with Instant Win; but I can enter monthly Sweepstakes, that is a relief.

So tired of it all and they expect us to pay for membership when they have a website that has not worked properly in years ??? There is no way they're using qualified tech people, probably college kids doing it for free.
