AARP gremlins are at work or you're on cellphone or your connection to internet is set for metered use, least those options are what it sounds like.
If you use dsl or cable, turn off meter connection.
If you are using cell or on metered internet.
https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/4028229/windows-10-set-your-data-limit
Total roll of the dice๐, I could be in a similar boat. PM's don't work once more.
Hope you will be around tomorrow, pkg requires an adult signature. And tracking number isn't happening today, just love gremlins.

Hi, all,
Now I'm on my phone since I can't reply to posts via the computer.
Yesterday was so hot, but much nicer today.
Was out for breakfast with my retired teacher friends.
Stopped at the dollar store to get some fall stuff. Tried to catch up on some shredding. More to do now, so off to tackle some more.
Hope you have a great week. ๐ N.

Hi, again, all porchers,
This time I'm on the computer. Thought I'd try to reply before I hit the hay. Still not loading photos, but at least I can reply without that weird message. We'll see if I can do it again tomorrow.
Good night, everyone. Sweet dreams. N.

Good Morning, All!
We are having fall-like mornings and summer-like afternoons. It was 52 this morning when I got up and they expect close to 81 for a high today and then 84 tomorrow and 86 by Sunday. It's fine with me since the humidity is not high.
So glad I can respond via computer...much easier to type for me with a larger keyboard. Maybe my photos will come back someday, too.
@Frozenoem ...I didn't do anything to try to fix the weird message problem, it just wouldn't let me reply to any of these posts. Just took me to a blank page with this:
Request Entity Too Large
The requested resource
/t5/Our-Front-Porch/bd-p/bg31
does not allow request data with GET requests, or the amount of data provided in the request exceeds the capacity limit.
So I don't know how it fixed itself, but at least I can reply! YAY! N.

No joy in Mudville, as yet with insurance, house not medical.
I burn wood in lined chimney when it gets cold. Had to take pictures in the chimney with phone for 20th time.
Never a claim and tripled my rate per month.
Your not still using Internet Explorer, are you?
You aren't still using Windows 7,8,8.1?
You are using only Windows 10 and any other browser under the sun๐คฃ.
Most times that's an error code 413??
If it works now ignore it, if it pops up again clear cache first.
Or clear cookie for AARP and /or clear cache. If the problem is only on AARP your cookie or cache could have been a problem.
If you clear cache your sites will load slowly until they're all refreshed or saved to your hard drive again.
What browser do you use? And what operating system? I'm maturing and have been known to forget things.
You could google how to clear cache for your browser? Like Mozilla, chrome, edge, safari or whatever your browser is. Or try this link for instructions, on clearing cache.

Good morning to everyone on the Front Porch on this Friday morning in September! Been off line for a while as we were in Milwaukee for a couple of days to see a couple of Milwaukee Brewers games. We were part way there and discovered I had forgotten my cellphone. I decided it was to far to go back so I decided to go without it for a couple days.
It was fine and as Mary said I would see more of the game,
My golf leagues are over with for the year.
Fall garden work will be starting soon once the leaves start to fall. Hoping everyone has a great weekend!

Hi, Porch Peeps,
I went to post this with a photo, and my photo wouldn't go through, so lost the page and I'll try again.
Woke up to 48 degrees, but now it is 70 and promising to go to around 77. Getting warmer this weekend with the EAGLES sweating in close to 90 degrees and with several injured players out.
Tonight is our monthly Chinese dinner out.
Forgot to mention that when I went to Starbuck the other day it was chilly and I ordered my first hot skinny mocha since the spring. I have been getting the iced one. When I got my cup at the drive thru, the guy had printed this on the cup:
Now if the photo doesn't load, it said, "It's getting hot in here!" ๐
Have a nice weekend! N.
OK....photos not loading again. I press "done" and the page just freezes.
What should we expect? The Games are screwed up again, too. Grrrr!

Now you just know AARP is playing or updating the site.
You can try updating your browser, whichever you use.
I'm on phone so its memory 3 dots vertically in right corner, click on help about> and see if you have latest update to browser.
Beyond that will have to wait until I find computer. Have spent more time on iPhone than computer this month๐.
Your right site won't accept photos, the gremlins are at work behind the scenes.๐คฃ
I actually managed to finally get AARP to accept a pm to you๐.
Somethings coming from Jersey to Jersey in next couple of days.
Figured it was quicker than waiting a month for Maine to update stocks. Whenever it ships will send tracking number.
76* and sunny in Maine.

It's still morning 77* with the heat returning for another week๐.
Curious if pictures are allowed again on AARP, caught a bit of nature in action.
Still trying to get used to new iPhone edit for pictures, this is gonna take awhile๐คฃ, need a keyboard.
I think I'll stick with thumb typing for awhile, subject to change. I used to say the same thing about how people could type with their thumbs.
it's back

No phlebotomists lately, just bleedings.
Chell was on vacation with ex, now in PA with a PD couple, in the woods.
Lost ability to remain upright for awhile, and had to make a decision her happiness or mine.
Sheโs now taking long hikes and getting more training then I can give her.

Hi, Porch Peeps,
It has only taken me about 10 min to finally be able to get on this page. Grrrr!
Anyway, it's a lovely day here in the Philly burbs. 71, sunny with a nice cool breeze. Wish I could bottle some up for you @LaDolceVita !
Had my coffee on the porch and am just enjoying the day. Now I need toget to work, so will load up with more coffee and plow into the jobs.
Have a great day (or days as I may not be able to easily get back here again.):catmad: N.

Perhaps add a bookmark to page 1 of the group, in your browser.
It works for me, for groups I visit daily. My password manager also logs me in upon return.
Time to play in garage, itโs frost warning time again๐คฌ. Donโt think I need to worry yet but...need to make preparations.
Uhaul / Horse / Moving blankets for vegetation.
Furnace on and some firewood in. CMA.

Hi, Everyone!
@Frozenoem ...well, I tried the bookmark for this topic I saved yesterday and lo and behold it worked. Thanks so much for that idea. Beats taking 10 minutes trying to get on here.
So today was double star day at Starbucks so I HAD to go. Then stopped at the state store to see if any wine was on sale. Now I'm set for a few weekends.
It is almost chilly today and I love it, but the heat comes back this weekend.
Take care, All! N.

We did approach chilly last night - 37* but, missed the frost for now.๐
Expecting 60-70โs by day for awhile more thankfully.
No problem on suggestions, and now back to the darned garage.
Another day of clean out, too much stuff.

Good morning, Front Porchers!
It's a cool, hazy Tuesday morning and I'm just glad to have opened my eyes to see it. As summer is giving way to fall, I, too, am slowing down. I'm slow to rise--moving like a snail through the day. And I drag my way to my bed at night--plopping down in it like a two ton weight. But I'm thankful for each day whatever each day brings.
I truly hope and pray that everyone reading this is living their best life as the saying goes. And if not living it now, I wish all swift currents to it. So to one and all.....
P.S. -- @DaveMcK , am I to assume you're a Packers fan or do you just have a likin' to gold, green, and white?

Still alive in the sweltering heat, will be 96 today. Mom is in respite care, boy was she mad at me when they took her away! My head aches and my BP is up. I have been off BP meds for 8+ years and I do not want to go back on them. I begged hospice for respite and got it! Heading to NE Ga tomorrow (Deliverance country no more, it is full of Home Depots) for a day of fun with senior group. It will be fun and hopefully theraputic. Always fun to watch a bunch of oldsters with their noses in their cell phones for hours. My buddy and I do not do that we talk!
@DaveMcK Great pictures as always and congrats to Emma & Andrew. @Frozenoem Are they still bleeding you dry? How is Chelli? My Tessie had a bit of chicken jerky get stuck in her throat, she did spit it out, but not before I misplaced a pair of glasses I have managed to hang on to for 1 & 1/2 years.

Good morning to everyone on the Front Porch on this Friday the 13th. Golfing was gotten in between some rain drops. We had strong storms and heavy rains across Wisconsin last night. Many low areas had flooding last night and today. Hoping everyone has a great weekend.
A full moon on Friday the 13th is an extremely rare occurrence, according to the Farmers' Almanac. It reports that this will be the first full moonvisible across the U.S. on Friday the 13th since Oct. 13, 2000. The next one isn't expected to happen again for another 30 yearsโon Aug. 13, 2049.

Good Morning, All on the porch,
Quite a change in the temperature today! After having to have the AC on yesterday, it was 57 this AM when I woke up. Right now it is very cloudy and 63. We won't get much higher than the low 70's today if we even get there. Fine by me!
First thing this morning was an ear doctor appointment. That went fine and I can hear with unclogged ears again!
Hope you all have a super weekend. I've got nothing on tap but am open to anything. Right now...more coffee and later...wine.

Donโt feel the need for Air Conditioning now and happy I removed the window unit last month.
Awoke to temps in the 40โs rudely, by the call of snowblower guy coming to pick it up. He can play with new belts and a new tube in the tire. Iโd really rather not.๐
Presently 62* and sunny, donโt expect anything higher than 70โs for some time to come.
And on that cheery note, need to play in garage. Need to clean it out, in preparation for eventual firewood season.
I know itโs coming, just donโt want to rush into it. ๐คฃ 70* beats all heck out of -65* on a wicked cold and snowy day.
Thought you were running Windows 10 already. Connectivity is a cable or dsl issue, or router if you own yours.
Keep on the updates and you should be golden๐คฃ.
Looking at late October for my next expletive specialist, itโs really getting old!!!!

Greetings,
I am not sure if this is offered in other States. Saturday is free musuam day in New Jersey. It's the one day of the year where there's no admission fee. A great chance to take in something new and enjoy the day.
Went to the semper Fi race in seaside heights on Saturday. Thank goodness there was no drama, unlike 3 years ago.
Weather is great. So I am out at the unit at Fort Monmouth. Boxes will be mailed this week.

Frozen,
I got 4 calls from Microsoft on my house phone yesterday. The funny thing is that I don't even have a computer . My daughter took both of them with your when she went to Rutgers University. Then, my house phone calls it's self. Just glad numbers appear on my phone and tv..
I just hope they pass the laws about these spam calls.

I think the calls are supposed to get worse, courtesy of orange guy removing protections from Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. Will give link if I find it later.๐คฃ
And Kraninger of CFPB, I very well believe things are improving for debt collectors and spammers via telephone.
This am 4:45 it was a call from TX, saying that I had requested their assistance in buying my house - they had my address.
Came as surprise to me, paid it off 25 + years ago. Sell maybe, buy again I donโt think so.
Best guess really spam, calls are getting earlier in am,I might get a little nastier much before 4:30am.
Re-Installed my phone recorder if this is a sign of stuff to come.
Back to garage playtime, got my snowblower back and really feels like I may overuse it this winter- the signs are appearing.
Like outside spiders sealing off screen door, had to push hard to open porch door and Side door, in space of 8 hours it was super thick webs.
