I spy, with my little eye... a masher, a chopper, a mixer, a scooper, and a peeler. ๐Ÿ˜

Use to sit and watch my Granddaddy sharpen these things every Saturday. He did it to earn extra money and sometimes for no reason I would get a nickel for helping. I was a rich young fella.

I have a bag of 50 of the common yellow ones, I must have ended up with close to 300 45's between mine & what was at my parents house. I recently found a box of 50 more.

I always preferred the spindle adapter though.

My mother had a collection of them back in the day. Don't know what happened to them.

Now was that Shoney's, Manner's, or Bob's?

I remember getting a free hamburger as a "reward" for picking up litter with the scouts (mom said it was a ploy to get the parents in to spend .. she taught me early on consumer scams), mom & dad had a cup of coffee & watched me eat my free "Big Boy" hamburger which was wafer thin (please present coupon before ordering).  I remember the conversation there too, my aunt (who didn't have her drivers license yet), bought a brand new car, & I had to guess what it was.

I noticed that too.  I'm going from my memory that was about 1972 or '73, 7 cents being a bigger deal then.

I'm hoping the "Birthday Cake"  Disney Cereal, I picked up on clearance last month ... (big box for $1!)  has a similar flavor.
