VA and FL Medicare Question

(1 comment) Good Morning!

I turn 65 next September (2023) and hoping to be back in Florida by then.

I know we can enroll early and plan on doing so July 2023.

I am already getting my Retirement Social Security.

I also know we get enrolled for Parts A and B automatically when that time arrives IF we are receiving our Retirement Social Security.

Now here is where I am not sure which direction to take.

(1) I live in VA full time since 2015, use to live in FL. My only child use to be in VA, returned to FL. I want to do the same.

(3) When I enroll for Medicare, does it matter which STATE I register in IF I change states AFTER enrolling?

I am not sure IF I will be able to move back to Florida any time soon with Housing Prices.

Thanks,

Nicole
