Supplemental Dental Insurance

Supplemental Dental...kind of has a ring to it, doesn't it? ๐Ÿ˜€

Two weeks ago I turned 65 and enrolled in Medicare and SS. I chose Humana Gold Plus HMO H5619-059 for Part C.

I've been paying Delta Dental for my dental insurance for over a year now, but I can see an overlap in coverage between these two insurance plans.

Does anyone pay for additional dental coverage? Is it worth it?

Thanks!

Dental coverage is a part of my senior care advantage plan. I have two check-ups/cleanings a year and I don't pay anything for those visits unless other work is performed. There are amount limits for each year. I like my teeth and want to keep them so to me it's worth having it. I would not pay for a second plan.
