What are your top ten all time favorite TV series?
Wow we have covered quite a number of shows old and new in this group. Makes me wonder, after all of the years and all of the shows, which ones you have loved above all others.
Feel free to say why or comment if you would like to..
No restrictions.. comedy, drama, reality, whatever you like.

Bet no one remembers 'Waterfront'. It was about a tugboat that happened to bear my name. It was on at 10PM back in the early 50's so I hardly ever got to stay up and watch it.

Yes I remember it and here is one, do you remember Sky King? the guy with the airplane and the daughter that goes back a long way!
Posted by nyadrn
Hi,
I do not remember Sky King on TV at all. But I do remember him on the radio. Gee, TV do you remember what year?
Posted by ctsmeow15
Wikipedia says radio show 1946. TV 1951 to 1956.

Finally, someone listed The Carol Burnett Show. So many memorable moments - like the Gone with the Wind sketch when "Scarlett" came down the stairs with the dress made from draperies, rod and all!

"The Prisoner" a renegade British agent forcibly removed to an idyllic village with no escape, populated with others of his like and subjected to various methods to coerce secret information from them. The controllers were not identified as being either of the West or the Communist
bloc. Patrick McGoohan was originator of the idea, I believe the producer, and The Prisoner himself (Number Six). This compelling series was followed very closely by its fans and a disappointing final episode generated outrage from the public to the point that McGoohan had to leave England; he believed for his own safety. Just a great series (other than that last episode!)
