What are your top ten all time favorite TV series?
Wow we have covered quite a number of shows old and new in this group. Makes me wonder, after all of the years and all of the shows, which ones you have loved above all others.
Feel free to say why or comment if you would like to..
No restrictions.. comedy, drama, reality, whatever you like.

So many good shows over the years, it's tough to narrow the list to only 10, but these oldies top my list:
The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson
Ed Sullivan Show
Gilligan's Island
Bonanza
Star Trek
Dallas
Columbo
Mission Impossible
Hart to Hart
Murphy Brown
Also, thanks to the poster who reminded me of Moonlighting; loved the chemistry between Bruce Willis and Cybill Sheppard!

These are the TV series I have liked so much that I blew hundreds of dollars of my hard earned pension on ordering the DVDs of all of the seasons they were on:
Columbo, Poirot, Monk, That Girl, Rhoda, The Goldbergs, Boston Legal, & Downton Abbey. When it disappears from the Hallmark Channel I'll see if I can get all the seasons of Diagnosis Murder. I also like Jeremy Brett's Sherlock Holmes and, of course, Midsomer Murders, Murder She Wrote, and Inspector Morse.

Okay.............I haven't seen any of these mentioned but I'm weird I guess.
From back when............
McGuyver
Bonanza
and way back when....... Annie Oakley (my idol), The Lone Ranger, Roy Rogers, Gene Autry, Hopalong Cassidy, Cisco Kid, Wyatt Earp, all the Westerns. I'm a horse lover & Cowgirl at heart so.....................
Also, more recent,
Covert Affairs which is off the air now
Face Off on SyFy
Criminal Minds
Grimm
Sleepy Hollow
Madam Secretary
Reign
Scorpion
Code Black
Blue Bloods
and Animal Shows from PBS, Animal Planet & Nat Geo Wild
Nothing real heavy or complicated.

One of my favorite TV shows as a kid. Penny was his niece, not his daughter.
