What are your top ten all time favorite TV series?
Wow we have covered quite a number of shows old and new in this group. Makes me wonder, after all of the years and all of the shows, which ones you have loved above all others.
Feel free to say why or comment if you would like to..
No restrictions.. comedy, drama, reality, whatever you like.

Wow! That's a tall order!
I think my all time favorite TV show was "M.A.S.H."
"NYPD Blue"
The "Law & Order" series...all of them. Recently, I have been focusing on "Criminal Intent."
"Boston Legal"
"Ally McBeal"
"ER"
"Sopranos"
"Star Trek"
British TV series...both drama and comedy. I love "Poirot," "Midsomer Murders," "Jonathan Creek," "Doc Martin," "Monarch of the Glen," "Inspector Lewis," "Wire in the Blood," "Sherlock Holmes," (both) "MI-5," "Downton Abbey."
"Gunsmoke"
"Ponderosa"
"Big Valley"

Don't believe I can name 10, and for at least a decade I gave up watching tv:
Star Trek - Original
Mission Impossible
Let me add:
NCIS, all 3
CSI, more than the original one than the other two
Bones
Grey's Anatomy
Prison Break (although it was a limited run)
Covert Affairs
The Glades

Forget a "top 10 list"; I'll just mention the series I liked well enough, that I'd watch reruns if they were on again now:
Sex and The City - I think I like best that it's light fare, and you can watch any 5 minutes or episode, without needing to see the whole thing for it to make sense.
The Sopranos
NYPD Blue
BBC/PBS Series - That alone might be more than 10!
Upstairs/Downstairs - Original & New
Downton Abbey
Sherlock Holmes (with Jeremy Brett)
Poirot
Made for TV Movies
Pride & Prejudice (1995 w/Colin Firth & 2005 w/Keira Knightly)
Thorn Birds
Reality Shows
Project Runway
America's Next Top Model
Top Chef
