Games not Loading
Whatโs the deal with the games not loading? I have an updated iPad Air 17.1.1 and use Safari. I saw the page with suggestions, but are you suggesting that I have to clear all my cookies, lose all of my user autofills for dozens of sites just to play a game?

Hello there NY State of Health website@pj4809,
It seems there is a known issue with AARP games not loading properly on certain devices, including the iPad Air with Safari. AARPโs online community has acknowledged this problem and is working to resolve it. Clearing cookies is a common troubleshooting step, but itโs understandable that you might not want to lose all your autofills for other sites.
Sometimes, using a different web browser can resolve loading issues.
This can allow you to play games without affecting your saved cookies and autofills.
You can choose to clear cookies specifically for the AARP website, which might resolve the issue without affecting other sites.
Ensure that both your browser and operating system are up to date, as updates can fix bugs that may prevent games from loading.
Remember, these are just suggestions, and if youโre not comfortable with any of them, itโs best to wait for an official fix from AARP.
Best Regards,
NY State of Health website

UPDATE: I have tested this, and I can access the games by going here: https://www.aarp.org/games/category/all-games/. I clicked on the game I wanted to play, and I got into the game. FYI.
AARPTeri just made this announcement:

Thank you for your solution. It worked for me when clearing the cookies did not work. I thought I had already tried the page with all games listed, but perhaps I had only the Mahjongg games in a list. I had been unable to bring up Mahjongg Remix until I followed your suggestion. I use Edge.

Still addressing the issue??? It's May already! I only have trouble with the Members Only games flashing loading, loading, loading, loading, loading. AND, I noticed this morning that the red banner is AGAIN dropping down to cover the game I'm playing. Oy!

Years ago, I had issues with anything AARP on my Apple equipment when using Safari as a browser. I got the same suggestions years ago and those suggestions were useless. I then called Apple and they were very clear that the issue was that technology had moved on and that AARPโs technology was out of date. That, in a nutshell, was the issue at that time, according to them. Apple suggested I use another browser, such as Firefox. I added Firefox and use it when I go to AARP and havenโt had any issues since.

Hi @pj4809 - I wanted to check in and see if you're still having this issue? If so, could you please provide me with either 1) more detail on what is happening - does the screen turn white, blue, etc.? 2) or send me a screen shot? Lastly, do let me know if this is happening on specific games.
Thank you for your time - and sorry to keep you waiting for a reply!

Yes it is.
Lately, the main thing I use my membership for is playing games, specifically Classic Solitaire. that has become nearly impossible. I log in, select Games, the Classic Solitaire, then another page that looks like the start of game flashes on the screen, only to quickly disappear, showing a white background with a dotted circle that just sits there and does nothing.
This (aarp.org) is looking more like a scam with each new ad and each passing day.
