Do you honestly realize that your game center is a JOKE.  AARP banner destroys every game, which probably means the top scores are phoney.  Shame on you, AARP ruined my game time. I truly wonder if you will respond.  From what others are saying, AARP will let it continue.  Perhaps if enough members do not renew, you might get the message.

Iโ€™m so glad that somebody else has said this. I canโ€™t imagine how some people get 12 million points when I can barely get 17,000 points

We are sorry to hear you do not like the game center.  You should be able to close the banner and it not effect your game time.  Can you tell us more about your specific experience so we can help mitigate this for you?  You can also email us at AARPgames@aarp.org

Thank you.

Why wasn't the new system tested before putting it out? It's terrible. My 14 year old grandson who already does coding is frustrated as much as I am. And I am a retired scientist and engineer. Stop beating this dead horse and go back to what works. Know your clients.

To go even further, the screen exceeds the boundaries of the cell phones. I don't need to re-up. We have a 5year membership.

You're going to lose my participation on the website.

It seems no one tested the new Games format on the AARP mobile app. It is very confusing wandering around to find the games I usually play. Allow someone to select the games they play & bring those back up on entering the games center.

@mldoersam, thank you for the feedback. We are focusing on reestablishing the connection to recently played.  In the meantime, this link will work as long as you're registered and logged in to AARP.org> https://games.aarp.org/category/recently-played.

The recent changes to the game site has made it exceptionally difficult to find the game I want to play. Finding the game takes longer than playing a game now.  Also some game require the phone to be turned, but it does work on my phone so those games I can't play. Hopefully you are still working out the bugs.

I am reposting part of an earlier response to help other users who may not be inclined to scroll down that far.

I completely agree with many that the new format is neither more useful nor user-friendly; however, if you click on any game, the old menu will show up where you can find your "Recently Played" favorites and the search field is still there also.  I included a screenshot with my lower post, but decided to omit it here because it requires the reader to scroll past it to view the written portion.

Best wishes,  everyone. ๐Ÿ˜Š

Thank you, @AdriennejB28560 , and you are correct.  It might be easier to use this link, which will get you to your recently played games > https://games.aarp.org/category/recently-played. It only works if you are registered and logged in to AARP.org. I also added an AARP Games Tips and Post to the Games Talk Forum that shares the link.

This is new format for games is terrible. Canโ€™t find the game I love to play Mahjongg 3D Dimensions. This is a site so seniors can easily maneuver around it. The new game format not so easy.

This new format is awful! It isnโ€™t intuitive and requires so many more steps to find favorite games. ๐Ÿ˜ž

If it isn't broke don't fix it.  I can't find the games I played.   They use to be on the main page now they are gone. Now I can't play any games that are my favorite.

What is the purpose of the game center? It just makes games 10 times harder to get to. ๐Ÿ‘Ž๐Ÿ‘Ž๐Ÿ‘Ž

If youโ€™re using a mobile device there are a few workarounds. Click on the new Game Center โ€œLearn Moreโ€, entertain yourself by reading a few of the endless stream of negative comments, then use the โ€œhamburgerโ€ menu in the upper RH corner and select Games, then the category youโ€™re looking for. Once you select your category youโ€™ll see a screen presenting the different games, just scroll down a bit past the new Game Center promo banner and CTA.

I wanted to let you know I appreciate the useful work around instead just complaining.  It seems that AARP was pushing people to use the AARP Now app on the phone.   I am surprised that they don't seemed to have considered people who are accessing this through their phones.   Bring back the drop down box to get to your game category.

Why did you screw up the games?  I used to log on and play a few games to relax. Now I canโ€™t find the games I want and only get stress.

I very seldom comment, but this new design for the games is awful.  I read the negative reviews, but still gave it a try myself.  It is an amazingly poor and extremely non-user friendly design.  Please fix.
