This Tuesday at Walmart I bought FRESH produce for the 1st time in YEARS!!! And about had my 1st heart attack. The prices.  😱😱😱

But I NEED a NORMAL Medicare Lab for NEXT year 2025. This year's 2024 said I am PRE-DIABETIC.  🙁

RIGHT NOW, I am chopping up broccoli and green pepper to make a KIDNEY BEAN SOUP. Delicious!!!  👍👍👍

Dealing with neighbors who are a hazard to ones serenity and health is toxic..So you do the best to circumvent the situation like you're doing..Ignore them like they not there..I have a neighbor who is obnoxious and crude..I deal with him like he's invisible..But if he crosses the line the law will deal with him..Everybody deserves their own space but have to be considerate of others which is not always the case..In order to save our sanity we have to act accordingly within the legal bounds...So ilive the best way that you can and ignore them ...

The sad part is that SOME folks will RETALIATE. I had one back in FLORIDA (38 years ago) when I had just had my only child. Here I am TRYING to work FULL TIME with a NEWBORN. Female BELOW me would NOT let me or my newborn SLEEP OR NAP.

I had asked her NICELY to TURN DOWN her Zumba Music. My floors were VIBRATING.

Told me she was an INSTRUCTOR and nothing changed.

I try to work with NEW neighbors BEFORE going to OFFICE.

So I reported her to OFFICE.

NEXT DAY, she EGGED MY CAR.

Of course I could NOT PROVE THIS but I called police and the OFFICE let me BREAK the year-lease I had JUST SIGNED.

Then I rented a 2-bedroom house out in the COUNTRY. EMPTY lots on BOTH sides of me and across the street. I did have a lady that worked at my daughter's daycare BEHIND. Didnot know this. Her brat was a NIGHTMARE. No boundaries.

Lol, I am looking for a Small Cottage here in Virginia with PRIVACY & ELECTRIC FENCE.  🤣😂

I had my tile floors restored last week and I am having the ceiling fan in my patio replaced on Monday. I went back and forth on the floors, but I am happy with my decision to go forward.

🐈  I have RELOCATED Mister to another side of my Studio Apartment.

Lol, SMALLER accomodations but hey, I have NOT put him OUT.  🤣😂

This way I have RECLAIMED my space.

From May this year 2024 when I "inherited" him I have been CLIMBING over him while he eats/waters.

Stepped on his TAIL a few times and a LEG once. Needless to say he DEMANDED I LET HIM OUTSIDE IMMEDATELY while telling me off with tail swishing.

And NOT until I "begged" him to come back INSIDE, would he. Just GLARED at me.

That’s how our little friends are!  Totally in control of the food!  Sadie has her spot in the kitchen and will bang her dish with her paw if she thinks it’s time to eat before I think it’s time!  Usually she wins!!  I’m a total push over!

  Happy Thanksgiving Nicole.  They took ultrasounds on both wrists and I should get the results in five days.  Funny how they are able to determine rheumatoid arthritis via your wrists.  NO IT DID NOT SNOW!!!!⛄❄️  They keep threatening us with snow and not one snowflake.  Guess I have to wait until Christmas.  My son will be here for dinner.  They put him on a stronger antibiotic and it seemed to help.  I even baked pumpkin pies for the first time!!!!  Glad that you are enjoying "your" cat.  Isn't it nice being OWNED by a cat.  🤣  Take care.

GROUP DISCUSSION: Are you making MEMORIES?  🤔🤔🤔

As I sit here, suppose to be getting dressed to go to the DREADED Walmart - it suddenly occurred to me that 4 YEARS have passed since RETIRING.

Yes, EARLY retirement and thanks to COVID my "planned" return to "then" AFFORDABLE FLORIDA got cancelled.

Okay, I got that!!! Survived and so far have NOT caught COVID.  🙃🙃🙃

Then APRIL 11, 2024 rolls around and about 10am ET my only child, a daughter in FLORIDA, texts me that her and HUNDREDS just got LAID OFF.

No warning, just pack up, turn your equipment in (she was a Hybrid Engineer for Harris L3). Same company I worked for while pregnant with her. Lasted 9 years before my 2nd layoff left nowhere to transfer like lst one. Back then, you were GIVEN TIME to transfer.

TODAY - her severance pay and unemployment have RUN OUT.

So now while she does SEASONAL GIGS while Job Hunting for another Engineering job in FLORIDA (refuses to move back to Virginia where I am), her SAVINGS are dwindling. She has a mortgage and car payment. Mortgage Company has had her mortgaged PAUSED.

So either I BEGIN to figure out how I can RETURN to spending TIME in real life with her or risk the chance of dying before that happens. Yes, the tomorrow is not promised to us.

Yes, taking OUR LEMONS (her job loss, COVID) & making lemonade (memories).  🤗🤗🤗

  They keep telling us the economy is GREAT, there are loads of jobs available.   I pray each night that your daughter will find a job that she will love.  I am glad that you stay in touch with her and support her as you do.

  Not yet.  It is suppose to rain in a few hours and they say it will turn into snow.  Hope we are home by then.    Yesterday would have been the 63 wedding anniversary for me and my husband.
