🌲  Group Discussion: Have you (will be) put up a Christmas Tree THIS YEAR? If YES, any NEW ornaments? They say ADDING a "few mixed in" with the OLD helps us to MOVE FORWARD while HONORING OUR LUV ONES!!!  🤗🤗🤗

To be honest, I have NOT put one up for YEARS but have FOND MEMORIES of doing so with my Grandparents. Lol, it was FUN putting it up but NOT taking it down. As they AGED, the "real" tree became a "fake" one = pack up and store, versus having to haul outside to the curb. Oh, and keep alive with water at the bottom. I can "smell" the tree as I "think" of them.  🤗🤗🤗

Well, I hope we make it to my MONTHLY Cat Food Isle trip at Walmart in TWO DAYS (Tuesday)!!!  😱😱😱  Have to wait on my Monthly Retirement Social Security bank deposit to get more. Hoping bank plays NICE and releases it. Lol, I have learn't the HARD WAY just because the Government "deposits" it ON TIME, does NOT mean the bank has PROCESSED IT.  🙄  So we RATIONING until I DO purchase more. Lol, use to RUN OUT and running to Dollar Tree for a FEW PACKS to get me through until my Tuesday Walmart. Luv Walmart's HUGE CONTAINERS of Cat Food.  🙃  Lol, of course there are ONLY 5 kind of Friskies my boy will eat.

NOSEY NICOLE WANTS TO KNOW  🙄  how are your brother and son Cadee @Cadee2719  🤗🤗🤗

🐈  This is my 1st Winter with Mister (stray cat I inherited May 2024) and my boy feels it is OKAY to continue the IN & OUT in 20 degrees!!! REFUSES to be an INDOOR CAT.

Luv him to death but yours truly is FREEZING each time I OPEN MY DOOR TO LET HIM into my Studio Apartment.  🙄

So "tough love" = fill up on food & water three times each day. I can bundle up until I am sure his STOMACH IS FULL & hydrated.  👍

I read online that cats SNACK, THEN WALK, THEN SNACK. They have VERY TINY stomachs.

Once FULL, nap for hours especially during the daytime. Nights 10pm to 3am ET, he is hunting & exploring the neighborhood.

And at 3am ET scratching at my door for EARLY BREAKFAST. If I am up, I let him in IF I am NOT too exhausted to make it to my door. Yes, he owns me as Cadee @Cadee2719 says./lol

Have to do my Dumpster Run tonight and check Mailbox to see IF my NEW 2025 Part D Medicare info for Wellcare did arrive.  🙄

Post Office email said it did a few days ago, made a SPECIAL trip to mailbox = just JUNK, no Wellcare Welcome Packet.

She has been SO STRONG with her 1st anniversary of losing Mark drawing NEAR (December 4th).  😭😭😭

NOW she is dealing with WORRY over dear sweet Sadie who hurt her paw while spending Thanksgiving with family.

Julie could NOT get any Medical Care for her YESTERDAY, but hoping TODAY before heading back home.

To some, Sadie is just a dog.

To Julie, this sweet girl was Mark's and STILL IS!!!  🤗🤗🤗

🤔  Group Discussion: Those DREAMS!!! Do you try to UNDERSTAND them? I know in the past Marcy @MarcyW882921 had mentioned her husband interpreting them. Anyone have a comment?

I think sometimes dreams can be telling, but mostly I think they're aftereffects of the day's events. Stress can get the dreams going too. However a dream can be trying to tell us something too.

Lol, for awhile it was like EVERY NIGHT I had one and WOKE UP SAD.

Then life gave me a BREAK of a few days.  🙄🙄🙄

So, LAST NIGHT (yes, had one) and although I got up SAD decided I would TRY TO UNDERSTAND WHY it happened.

[1] Could a luv one is trying to communicate?

[2] Or life is TRYING to comfort and/or warn me.

*** Number 2 - comfort. While I was SAD an old and dear friend from High School back in Jamaica West, Indies (later ran into in Miami, Florida when I was married) was in it - what he did in the dream REMINDED ME someone did/does CARE. ***

Of late here in Virginia, it has been a CONSTANT AVOIDING DRAMA and it takes a beating on your SOUL.

So LIFE, I have NO idea IF Breeder (his pet name from school, lol) is STILL ALIVE but please THANK HIM wherever he is.  🤗🤗🤗

There are tears sometimes. Smiles too,  when we share our GOOD news with each other. It has been a PAINFUL journey but WE are starting a NEW LIFE where our luv ones are still a part of us.

Some of us met in the AARP Grief forum years ago and felt a need to stay connected.

Some of us are NEW to grief and receiving the support from folks who have been through it, has been a blessing.

LIFE continues on in spite of OUR SADNESS and we must get up to take care of stuff.

Some of us have NO support in the REAL WORLD - this is family for them.

Some have pets who give them a reason to get up. Lol, got to feed them!!! We post pictures of our furbabies and you are welcome to do the same.
