No points on Codeword

Second day in a row without getting points on Codeword.

 It's always a surprise if I win at scramble words, but usually it works on my second try. Today I didn't get points for scramble words after 2 tries and also didn't get the 600 for codeword. This is the first time I didn't get the points for codeword.

 I've figured out workarounds/reasons for some of the malfunctioning games. I used to be able to get points on codeword and scramble word if I cleared the cache AND rebooted. That no longer works. If I play the game 3 or 4 times, even replaying an older game, I will usually get the points; but that is . . . . . 

 

WAIT FOR IT . . . . .

 

  Pointless!😆

Same here, the last two days I was not awarded any points for completing Codeword. I made sure I was signed in and that I submitted my score. This happens almost once every week. 

 

It's frustrating to be rated a "Champion" and still not get the points.

 I've found that with Codeword and Sudoku (easy) if solved too quickly = no points. I'll wait until time is 3:00 to be safe.

This is a continuous problem for me.  On rare occasions, I do get points.  Most days I do not.   I feel like I've won the lottery on those days I do which is about one out of ten days.

 I just stopped playing games that don't work (consistently award points).

 It's a waste of time as nothing is/was/will be resolved based on previous/subsequent requests.

I feel your frustration. For a couple of days, I was getting my points, but the last three days, nothing. And today, I'm supposed to get 600 points, but nothing. I have been logging off my computer at night, and logging into the AARP account before attempting Codeword each day. It would be nice to know exactly what I have to do to earn points.

As you can see, I am logged in and I was rated a Champion. I don't know what else I need to do to get my points.

  You can get points, eventually, but never consistently. I've found if I play previous games, yes even those I've already played, I'll get points after the 3rd or 4th game . . . but what's the point 😁 ? It's not worth wasting the time.

Thanks for the suggestion, I was able to do yesterday's again, and got the 600 points.

That's how I feel. 

I also hate playing Hurdle for several minutes and then not getting any points for effort because the last word is radii.

Another day without points on Codeword. I don't understand why some users have this issue and others don't.

I've been replying to Christie. I can't guess when it will malfunction again and it would be a waste of time because I'm told them same thing every time. I'm wrong; I didn't earn the points; clear your cache; maybe you didn't score enought points to deserve the points . . . . I'd have to screenshot every game, before and after, AND screen shot the earned page. I get the same line YOU ARE GETTING THE POINTS.

How Do I Enable Private Messages in the AARP Online Community?

The AARP Online Community features a private messenger that allows you to send and receive private notes to other community members. 

To use this service, you'll need to ensure it's enabled. 

 

  1. Log in using your aarp.org online account at community.aarp.org 
  2. Click on My Settings in the top right corner of the community 
  3. Select the Preferences Tab 
  4. Select the Private Messenger Tab 
  5. Ensure the box labeled Turn On Private Messages is checked
  6. Click Save
