3,500 Pts. for Automatic Membership Renewal???
Hello Rewards Warriors,
If you go to Earn, Filter and Engagement you see Automatic Membership Renewal 3,500 pts. I don't think your membership has to be expiring, but if you set up for automatic renewal you can earn 3,500 pts![]()
I had a problem with this activity and would like to know if anyone else has a problem with this activity? My membership expires at the end of February so I used this activity to renew to get the 3,500 pts. The website took all the CC information and confirmed the payment and renewal along with a Thank You email.
But to my suprise
, I didn't get the 3,500 pts for rejoining with Automatic Renewal, called Customer Service and they adjusted my account and added the 3,500 pts.
Have you had a problem with this activity, and did you get the points? By the way, after you setup for automatic renewal and get the email you can can immediately cancel the automatic renewal. Make sure you have the points first and then cancel.
Please let me know if you're getting the points? Thanks!!![]()
Have a Blessed Day
Marylin

I had to call. I renewed for three years and I believe it was this offer. It was last summer. When I didn't get the points in a week or so, I used chat. The person told me to wait thirty days. I forgot of course. When I remembered, I called and it was given to me. The nice rep said it should have been credited immediately when I renewed. I got 2000 points as I had no record of the offer. My membership record showed I had renewed. It seems that function has no problem taking the payment but actually giving the points without calling is a problem.

Hello Rewards Warriors,
This is crazy that (6) years has passed and I'm still having this problem😢.
@AARPJanelleM could you please advise and handle this important matter?
Thanks for your time and consideration of this issue.

[Monday 2/23/26]
Good Morning Marylin @mi4090 !!!
ALWAYS so good hearing from you dear friend.
I notice in your post, you "tagged" AARP Janelle @AARPJanelleM .
As of 2/12/24, she has NOT posted on this AARP Community Board.
Maybe best to CALL Customer Service weekdays between 8am ET to 8pm ET.
I do MISS you on this board. 😪
Take care,
Nicole 💛

Hello @debiva
Sure you overlooked this paragraph in my original post![]()
"But to my suprise

Have you gotten these points and your account was automatically adjustment after setting up automatic renewal without having to call Customer Service?
Have a Blessed Day,
Marylin
