Unable to process your redemption request

So I take it they're fixing this fraudulent "points" and "rewards" thing Nov 15 - 18th? I guess we'll see. I'll take any bet for any amount that it's not fixed.

Hello Jodee R.  Can you tell me if anyone is working on my case?  It's been nearly one month since I've been able to redeem any points.  I'm just about ready to stop wasting time earning points if no one cares enough to fix this.  Please DO NOT tell me it's been escalated and will take 3-5 business days to fix.  I just don't believe that at all.

You certainly have good reasons to be frustrated. I wouldn't like not receiving those gift cards. My concerns don't involve money I spent (other than membership) so it feels minor in comparison, but I'm wondering if my points are going to expire now that I've been unable to use them for a week or so. Good luck getting things straightened out.

I haven't been able to redeem points for anything since 12/5/2024.  I think we should all get refunds for the time we have not been able to redeem. It was escalated and they said they would get back to me in 5-10 days and I haven't heard from them.

I know how frustrating it is to earn points and not be able to use them, especially because a website issue, @rc5185366. AARP Rewards points are non-transferable and expire on a rolling 12-month basis. Your points expire one year after you earn them on the first day of the following month. For example, any unredeemed points earned in January 2024 expire on February 1, 2025. Please send me a private message with your email address, so I can locate your account and look into this together. Thank you. - Daniela R.

Yes, completely agree, I'm pretty sure they'll be messing up something else entirely.  It's really frustrating how completely uninterested AARP is in fixing the redemption problem, despite so many of us contacting them about it.  Very disrespectful to the people who pay their salaries.

LOL, yeah, maybe . . . or maybe not.  It's unbelievable that when these tech glitches happen (not just rewards, also with certain games), it takes literally weeks to fix them.  Just shows how much AARP cares about its members, once they have our membership fee in pocket.
