Anyone able to finish the sleep extra credit lesson?

I am trying to get the Barnes and Noble extra credit gift card. I have completed all activities, but it only says I did 3 out of 4, so it won't let me get it. Anyone else trying to get the Barnes and Noble (or the CVS, which is also tied to this sleep lesson) gift cards? I'm wondering if this is just another site screwup or if it is something specific to my account. I see that the Burger King GC is sold out, so it looks like that lesson is working.

Unfortunately the people who maxed out before they fixed this will have to wait until tomorrow, since they are making us rewatch the video to get the credit for the extra credit gift cards. I think there were only two gift cards for points available for the sleep lesson. Of course the CVS gift card sold out and is no longer available. Right now, the Barnes & Noble gift card is still available.

 I finished it got credit but was not able to purchase the CVS gift card. It said I completed last night and now this morning. Same as always at the beginning of the month.

If you check your transaction history, it will probably show that you got credit for "How to start playing pickleball" even though the video you watched was "Ease your pain with better sleep", and because of this you only got credit for 3 of the 4 activities in the sleep lesson needed to get the Barnes & Noble and CVS extra credit gift cards.

This explains why the rep I chatted with asked me if I did any pickleball videos.  I explained that pickleball is not sleep unless the site is so messed up it changed sleep to pickleball....and that sounds like exactly what happened.  And now the CVS card is not even listed as a perk.

Same thing is happening to me.  Completed all 4, but only showing 3 of 4.  When I attempt to view the video again, it says already completed, but not marked as complete under the Extra Credit lessons.  I completed watching the video 9 hours ago!  

I was able to complete all of the other Extra Credit activities, and ordered gift cards tied to the Medicare lessons.

Was the problem video in an extra credit lesson last month, too?  Were the gift cards ever made available?

The problem video (Ease your pain with better sleep) was not part of the September extra credit activities. But someone noticed that there were issues when they watched the video just to earn points.  Here is the link to that post:

Ugh, I wish I had seen this before I wasted a half hour on the phone with customer support.  And now I'm even more annoyed -- rather than treat this as a known issue (which apparently it is), they put me through the whole troubleshooting nonsense.  All for a $5 card!!!  And of course they didn't even resolve it, or offer to give me the card as a courtesy.  Instead, I'm to wait the typical 5-10 days.  I expect that either they'll never get back to me, or that by the time they do, the card will be sold out and I'll get nothing but "sorry."  Another massive tech fail for AARP, but they simply don't care.

Sure, now I can watch the video AGAIN (after having watched it about a dozen times yesterday trying to get credit for it), but just as I predicted, all the CVS cards are gone.  This is a complete fiasco.  I have been PMing with one of your colleagues and she is refusing to issue me the CVS card.  Rest assured that I won't be letting go of this.  A complaint to the Better Business Bureau is next.

I got the same treatment.  It is our fault, not theirs.  My guy even claimed he had not heard of any problems with this.  That's why I waited 50 minutes to talk to a guy who treats me like I am stupid and tells me how to click on the "Redeem all Rewards" and so forth.  He even asks me if I am logged in.    Like I could do any of this if I wasn't logged in.  They really think we are all stupid. Oh and by the way it just isn't 5-10 days.  It is 5-10 business days, which is 1 to 2 weeks.  This a a complete blow off of the problem.

The "Ease Your Pain with Better Sleep" video had a known problem last month, it should have been corrected then and not included in this month's Extra Credit lesson. As soon as I saw it I knew I would not be able to redeem the CVS gift card. But I tried.....

I just did chat with customer service and gave them the specific information. They said they would have the tech team look at it and I should try later to see if it is fixed. Unfortunately they usually don't notify you when an issue is fixed, so I guess we just have to keep trying throughout the day to see if it eventually gets fixed.

I think I just answered my own question. Right after making this post, I saw there was a post from last month that there is a problem with the specific sleep video that is keeping me from completing this lesson. Looks like they never bothered to fix this issue, and it is now causing problems with getting the Barnes & Noble and CVS extra credit gift cards.
