Did you get a resolution to this problem? I've had a problem with my fitbit syncing for months. Sometimes it stays synced for several days, other times, it doesn't stay synced for even a whole day. I resync it quite often, and never know how long ...

You need to do the extra credit activities before you can redeem. It's confusing, because when you go to extra credit, it doesn't tell you which rewards open up, but once I completed all activities, I was able to get Red Robin, Krispy Kreme, and IHO...
