memories and mixed emotions.

Oh, I get it.  With everything going on everywhere now, festive distraction is a healthy way to shut out the madness that is oh so enveloping.  I’ve been known to put on holiday music in the summer just to feel the coolness of that season.  Lightens the mood for sure! 

 The seasons and holidays officially started for me based on the school schedule.  Start of school always meant fall to me regardless of what the calendar would say the official season’s start was.  I agree, Start of the holiday season was after Santa was spotted in the parade.  Very visual, sensory explanation that always worked for me.
