Sweet And Dandy:  Toots & The Maytals     (Can't say I understand all the lyrics, but I think it's a happy song, reggae at its best).

Rock This House - B.B. King version

Originally written by Memphis Slim and released as Rockin' The House.  One of those irresistably peppy toe-tappers.  Alan Freed may have added the Roll, but folks were already Rockin'.

Yes.   I liked Linda's version a little bit better though Martha and the Vandellas were great.   I really liked "Quicksand" by Martha & The Vandellas.  That really cheers me up.

And You and I Cord of Life Eclipse The Preacher the Teacher The Apocalypse - Yes

Nearly 10 minutes long, but invigorating. Maybe it's that last refrain:

And you and I climb, crossing the shapes of the morning
And you and I reach over the sun for the river
And you and I climb, clearer towards the movement
And you and I called over valleys of endless seas

Yes has been my favorite band of all time since I first heard the Fragile album. Their music can take me through a broad range of feelings, sometimes in just one song. My favorite changes depending on what I am listening that day. Today it's either the Gates of Delirium or the Man You've Always Wanted Me to Be. Both of them have some beautiful guitar work by my favorite guitarist Steve Howe.

Loved the James Gang. My favorite song of theirs is Tend My Garden. That being said, there probably isn't anything of theirs that I don't like.

Jack In The Green - Jethro Tull

The lyrics say "It's no fun being Jack-in- the-Green"

But the music is so lively and Jack's job, done well, inspires such gratitude.

I love most of Jethro Tull's music. One of my favorites is Thick as a Brick, especially the section that starts with "I see you shuffle in the courtroom, with your rings upon your fingers." The flute and acoustic guitar section right before those lyrics start brings me great joy and takes me back to the time when that album first came out.
