I like to play piano, watch Jeopardy on TV, cook, and play word games. I am recently widowed (just over 2 years) and involved in grief support groups.
Area of knowledge and what I know well:
I am an accomplished pianist and I recently was on the winning team in the local senior (50+) spelling bee.

Eats, Shoots and Leaves by Lynne Truss was a funny book about punctuation of all things. The title's meaning changes if you leave off the comma. Eats shoots and leaves describes what a panda eats. I think it was panda.

Thank you to all who replied. I am getting started on my new volunteer job. I guess I haven't been here too much lately. I was also going to bed earlier. Still taking care of my wonderful little dog Augie. Nice to be here.

That was online and I decided against it. But I am in the process of applying for some office work in a hospice program. There is a background check, fingerprinting, TB test, references and just for 2-3 hours a week! Oh well, I don't mind. I used...
