     Although I liked Elvis a lot and enjoyed dancing to this song as a teenager, I was very disappointed to awaken to it one morning years ago. 

     I had my clock radio set to come on to a station that played easy listening music so that I could start my day peacefully before going to work in a hectic office.  My favorite radio station, though, over the weekend had changed the type of music they would be playing, and I was not forewarned.  

     Imagine my shock when my radio announced to me early one Monday morning before I was fully awake, and in a louder volume than I was accustomed to, that I was nothing but a hound dog.  It was not a pleasant start to my work week.
