Saks Global Files for Chapter 11 Bankruptcy

Just an fyi with the Saks cards offered here.  While Chapter 11 is a reorganization, and companies can emerge fine out of it, I’d be very careful with getting gift cards for Saks.  Saks Global just filed for Chapter 11.  Might not affect gift cards right now, but just a heads up, as you never know in the near future how this will be handled.  I don’t shop at Saks, but just saw the gift cards here, and wanted to alert people just in case

I definitely recommend people use any Saks gift cards they have ASAP. I know when Joann went bankrupt, they were only accepting gift cards up to a certain date. Luckily I was able to use the ones I had before they stopped accepting them. Of course, Saks may not close like Joann did, but better to be safe than sorry regarding gift cards.
