REWARDS CATALOG TRASHED

If ever there was a need, maybe it's time to appeal to the
CEO (Mrs. Jo Ann Jenkins) of AARP  for assistance
in obtaining fair, sincere and honest treatment from this
Administrator. Merkle Inc (aka: HelloWorld) was selected to oversee this
rewards program, a program made up of almost entirely
retired senior citizens.
There has been very little attention or consideration given
by this Administrator for our concerns, ideas, and
legitimate complaints. Our rewards program has been and still is

plagued by bugs, glitches, untested applications, and flawed programming
since day one.

The one highlight of this program was the Rewards Catalog

until now. This Administrator has deliberately destroyed
the catalog feature this month by introducing a flawed filter
system that consist of seven (7) categories which makes
locating any points only gift cards very time consuming
and very difficult. (we requested only one simple filter, a
purchase cards filter or a sold out card filter)

DO NOT TRY USING YOUR IPAD, NONE OF THE FILTERS WORK

Evidently these categories were not tested as
Grocery/Drugstore filter returns Petco, and Fandango
cards. Dining returns Bath & Body Works and Old Navy.
When this program went live, the catalog had multiple
points only gift cards with decent $ value. Now, most have
been reduced to only $5. I am so angry right now I could bite

a rusty nail in to.

For some reason this Administrator decided to remove the

Weekly Win feature, reduced the number of redemption's
per sponsor, reduced points only gift cards to practical
zero, while increasing the number of purchase cards,
added a points expiration schedule, which is totally
inexcusable while reducing the opportunity for the
members to redeem their hard earned points. When we
asked for an increase in points only gift cards we were told
they have been in the catalog all along and appear
randomly in the catalog. This administrator likes to do
random, no oversight or transparency.
Who has the time to scroll through multiple pages looking
for a single points only gift card that will no doubt say
SOLD OUT.

We are retired senior citizens looking for a fun filled

enjoyable and rewarding rewards program, emphasis on
rewarding not the confusing, irritating, and frustrating one
we have now.

@rednexsrus

Lucy, thank you for this post.  It is so true and to the point.  This will probably fall on death ears as the hundreds of other complaints.

I would have been threatened, account blocked or some other issue.

Again KUDOS😉

Have a Blessed Day

I haven't been checking the Redemption page because I have to wait until February but I just noticed that there isn't any gift cards for points. Is this going to be the norm?  I hope not, because if it is, I'm done with AARP. Someone please tell me it ain't so. I'm asking

Well, one lousy Barnes & Noble showed up the other day, probably SOLD OUT within a few seconds. That was the first one offered in nearly 3 weeks 😫😫

I see they have removed the Category "For Points",  but if you look to the right they now have Redemption Type and you can choose "For Points" or "For Purchase".  So you can narrow it down by choosing a category and "For Points" if you are looking for a certain type of card.  I like the way they have done it.

👏 Alright. It's all about the Benjamin's. Seniors are targets for a lot of things, but you'd think AARP a company built for the purpose of educating and standing up for the over looked people of this society. I'm just saying
