AARP, Please help us clean up the Rewards system, please?

Over a year ago, our fine member, Sir Andrew @andrewtoo created a wonderful post we all joined to post points only opportunities; that was extremely successful but then someone either jealous or wrong apparently reported and it was removed...

If we cannot have a consistent responsible thread as we did then, then please allow us to block or not follow individual users, please... so we don't have to scroll through 8 pages of posts to find one to read...

I bought the $25 Darden gift card the other day and the redemption came from blinksky.com ? with no print button, and the card kept turning around front to back, so I had to use control P to print it with the card turned around. Doesn't even look like a gift card when I bring it in to Longhorn. Used to be so easy ... no more.

I had problems with the Blinksky cards I bought for Hulu and Kohl's. For Hulu I was unable to load it, waited a few hours and then it worked. For Kohl's I could not verify the amount by putting in the numbers to see the balance because there was not a pin number. The Kohl's Blinksky card works when you make a purchase, but you can't check the balance. I wish we could know if you are buying a Blinksky card ahead of time because I don't like them and would not purchase them again, but we can't know til it's too late.

I got mine and most of our group got theirs as well. That was a rough so called 24 hours but all done, Finally!

Me too! My wife and I just all 3 x $5 gift cards each within a couple of minutes. The wheels must be turning on the gift card delivery service. Glad they were able to get it resolved (or so it appears).

To the best of my knowledge, this has never actually worked (at least since I've been here '09)... That's what I wish they'd activate... but great thought, Serene!

A very wise and sensible reply to a very annoying problem created by none other then this administrator.
Anytime a member tries to do something good for all members he/she feels like they are undercutting his/her authority. BAH HUMBUG ! 😡 Go play in somebody else’s backyard and leave this rewards program ALONE !!!!

Ginger started a thread that lasted for years.

Reporting posts in threads should be for serious violations of the rules and, if not serious then should, be ignored, IMHO.

Other than that, the ability to ignore some users would be very helpful.

It's just Andrew... @WebWiseWoman , I haven't been knighted yet!

Yes I started the 1st posting of points only cards offered lasted many yrs then later Gwen/Gail & others did it...was so much neater & only had to go to that thread...Also you & Marylin having the promo codes for yrs was so nice too 

For life of me can't see how all the single threads that are done now is better...but we can't even have a long thread about anything these days they'll delete them... even if they are all nice & ect as mentioned in another thread here
