Good Morning To Everyone On The Front Porch On This Cold Thursday Morning December 17th, 2020!
As I'm sitting around our apartment on my cable I've seen some interesting things like beautiful creatures posted on the internet! It could be a tropical bird, a majestic animal, a waterfall in a remote part of Africa, a giant tree or the insect I've posted below.
I think that the Front Porch followers should be able to come up with several hundred photos by New Years Day! All you need to do is save the photo to your gallery and repost it here to this topic.

We had a two hole outhouse at our summer cottage for several decades.
They’re here! Photo caught the tall ships on top of the Potawatomi State Park Tower this afternoon. You can see them all throughout the weekend in the Destination of Sturgeon Bay.

The S.S. Badger is a 410-foot vessel, approximately one-and-one-half times the size of a football field, that is seven stories tall and can accommodate over 620 passengers and 180 automobiles, tour buses, RVs, motorcycles, and commercial trucks. Each season, the S.S. Badger makes almost 500 crossings at 60 miles from port to port.
Amenities include outside deck areas, deli-style snack bar, buffet-style dining area, upper deck lounge, aft end lounge, video arcade, children’s playroom, gift shop/ship’s store, private staterooms, free quiet room/museum, two free TV lounges, free movie lounge, and free parking at both terminals for passengers not taking vehicles on the ship.

The Juan Sebastián de Elcano is a training ship of the Spanish Navy. It is a four-masted topsail, steel-hulled barquentine. The ship was launched in 1927 and embarked on her maiden voyage in 1928.

James Craig , launched as Clan Macleod, was built by Bartram, Haswell & Co. in Sunderland, England in 1874. Her name was changed to James Craig in 1905. For 26 years she plied the trade routes of the world carrying general cargoes during which period she rounded Cape Horn 23 times.

Sedona is an Arizona desert town near Flagstaff that’s surrounded by red-rock buttes, steep canyon walls and pine forests. It’s noted for its mild climate and vibrant arts community. Uptown Sedona is dense with New Age shops, spas and art galleries. On the town’s outskirts, numerous trailheads access Red Rock State Park, which offers bird-watching, hiking and picnicking spots.
We were here for 10 days in the Scottsdale area in February 2020.

A large percentage of our planet is made out of rocks. While some rock formations have changed little over the years due to their geography and amount of exposure to various elements, others have been drastically altered to reveal a timeline of earth's physical history. We encourage you to take a cross-country trip through the United States to hike, climb, or photograph these amazing natural rock formations. Publicly accessible, they will remind you of just how small you are, and just how astonishingly large the world really is. We've included some all-time favorites and a few unique destinations, which you might not have heard of before. They're not listed in any particular order — each formation should inspire you to head outdoors and get stuck between a rock and a hard place. But not in the 127 Hours way, of course.
Devil's Tower, Wyoming
In Steven Spielberg's 1977 Close Encounters of the Third Kind, the filmmaker
Devil's Tower in Moorcraft, Wyoming popular due to its face-time on camera. While some debate about its formation has stunted geologists in the past, the simplest explanation that can be offered is that it is a stock: a body formed by magma that cooled underground and became exposed due to erosion. Bits and pieces (sometimes even columns) of the formation are continuously eroding—meaning it was larger in the past and could eventually disappear. So be sure to plan your visit before it's too late!
