I got the 5 port charger when i signed up and it won't charge and it either won't charge my device or other it says it's going to take 6 - 8 hours to charge. I would like to get something else since this thing doesn't actually work.
It is stylish looking. But, other than, it's basically junk. Output from a single port is 2.4A, with a 4.0A max output. With 2 devices plugged in, each of the outlets would supply only 2.0A. With 3 devices plugged in, they would take all day to charge. This is NOT a USB hub. It is a cheap, weak charger, worth pennies, not dollars.
Let's all agree that the instructions that come with the "gift" are vastly inferior. That said, it's really quite simple to use the charging unit. Let me start with a short description of the unit itself so that we are all in agreement on its orientation. Let's agree that the charging light is the top of the unit and the side, female port is on the right side. With that, everyone should be looking at the same unit direction. Here's what you do: Simply plug the white 10+/- inch charging cord/cable into the side port...male lead of the cord into female port hole on the right side of the charging unit. Then plug the other end of the charging cord into a power source. The red light on the charging unit will come on, and several hours later your portable battery will be fully charged. Simple, right? Now after the battery power pack is fully charged, you can use the same white cord to charge your phone, etc. In summary, all you need is the white cord to charge the battery pack (from a power source) and the same white cord to plug into the device you are trying to charge.
