Every October, Medicare gives its more than 67 million beneficiaries a chance to review coverage and make changes for the coming year.

While experts say too many enrollees overlook this opportunity, evaluating your options this year is especially important because of big changes coming to Medicare in 2025.

Premiums are changing

The Formulary may have change

Drug Tier levels may have changed

Deductibles have changed

We aren’t in Kansas anymore ( Wizard of Oz). so everybody needs to review the plans and pick the one that is best for your needs.

[9/24/24] Oh yes Gail @GailL1 , finally was able to VIEW my Aetna Medicare SilverScript "online" document and about had my 1st heart attack. Had been paying about $6 each month for this Part D Prescription Plan with zero cost at CVS for my Blood Pressure & Chlolestral Meds. Don't know AS YET about 2025 Prescription Price but Plan price is going to be about $29. 😭😭😭  Aetna COMBINED my "cheap" plan with a more "expensive" plan. Anyway, WORKING on losing weight and eating better = get off my meds. Nicole

Did your meds change tier level or did they give you that info?

Youhad no deductible before, I bet - what about in 2025 any deductible.

You can always change plans at open enrollment - the new plans should be out shortly; around the 1st of Oct.

[9/24/24] Gail @GailL1 , to be honest, not sure. They will ANSWER questions via PHONE as of October 1st. I will ask then. The "online" document was over my head. It looks like they did and one will be $5. Forgot what the other one was (senior moment). I am also pre-diabetic per this year's Medicare Blood Test. Doctor suggested exercise and Low Carb Mediterrean Diet. Fingers and eyes crossed NEXT year 2025 Blood Test will be back to normal. I see whomever is REPLACING her in January 2025. Her LAST day is 10/18. 😭  I am set up with her NP for now. Nicole
