T-Mobile ripping off seniors

After offering a plan to seniors that guaranteed no rate increases for life, T-Mobile has reneged on its promise, and has now raised rates $5.00 per line. This involves millions of seniors, and deserves to be looked into by AARP. This is an obvious contract violation. The company response is “Too bad”.

This is an interesting article on a class-action lawsuit against T-Mobile. The fine print of the "Un-contract" indicated that T-Mobile could raise their rates but people in that contract didn't have to pay - they could leave the contract.

[From the article...]

"You see, although T-Mobile’s “Un-contract” promotion sounds ironclad, the fine print gave the company an easy out. Essentially, T-Mobile wasn’t promising to never raise prices: it was promising you wouldn’t need to pay if it raised prices. By the Un-contract rules, any customers who saw prices raised on their Un-contract plans could immediately leave T-Mobile with no repercussions and their final bill paid by the company."
