AM I THE ONLY ONE THAT IS EXASPERATED WITH HAVING TO START GAMES OVER AND OVER BECAUSE OF THE "DROP DOWN" AARP ADVERTISEMENT BANNER THAT CAUSES YOU TO CLICK ON AARP'S SERVICES WHETHER YOU WANT TO OR NOT?! WHO CAME UP WITH THIS IDEA TO FORCE PEOPLE INTO THE SITE. MSN AND OTHERS HAVE GAMES TOO. THIS GUARANTEES THAT PEOPLE WILL NEVER SEE YOUR PRODUCTS AND SERVICES, MEANING LESS POTENTIAL CUSTOMERS. THIS BANNER IS ANNOYING AND SCREAMS OF DESPERATION.
Thanks for your feedback, @DebraS792604. We introduced our new website header (the red bar at the top of the screen) to provide a consistent user interface with the rest of the http://AARP.org?cmp=SNO-LITHIUM---&socialid=13121007950 website, improve website familiarity and increase the speed of page load. I have the same complaint! It is EXASPERATING to try to play games because of the placement and SIZE of the AD WINDOW ... IT DOESNT MATTER WHICH AD IT IS - IT'S THE SIZE AND PLACEMENT OF THE AD WINDOW... By checking on the x, you simply get rid of what ad is there HOWEVER THE SPACE I STILL USED AND DISRIPTING GAME PLAYING. If you move your cursor outside of the window, the page adjusts INCORRECTLY - YOU HAVE TO TAKE TIME TO GET IT ALIGNED IN ORDER TO SEE THE WHOLE PUZZLE AND THE OPRIONS... PLEASE REDUCE THE SIZE OF THE AD WINDOW AND ALLOW IT TO BE MOVED TO THE BOTTOM OR SIDE OF THE PAGE!
Diana,
Clicking on "Close Menu" just works for a moment. It will re-open again while you are playing a game, and you will have to close it over and over. Try playing Mahjongg Dimensions and you will see how frustrating it can be playing a game that it is timed when that happens.
A lot of people have this problem. The pages jump around when moving your cursor. Puzzels disappear and you need to slowly move the puzzel up the page to make it fit. Your placement of the ad above the AARP banner is simply not working. Just frustrating your members
