Save to favorites is not on enough articles

I have found many articles and such (like finally finding these forums) but so very few have the "add to favorites" option.  Why is this feature not more widespread on this site?

Also, am I the only one that finds this site difficult to navigate?  I'm quite computer savvy, but this site is extremely poorly put together.  I hope it improves. Currently I'm not finding it very helpful and that's disappointing.

I agree! I remembered adding a recipe to "favorites" at one point and when I wanted to add an article today, I couldn't remember how to even do that or how to access things I'd already added to favorites for that matter. When I inquired, I was told by Debra, the person on the other end of aarp chat feature, that aarp website doesn't have the option of adding things to favorites. At least with this post, I know my memory didn't fail me even though the aarp chat person did.

I can understand your frustration, @MelisaP646057. Not all of our articles have the "+ Add To My Favorites" button, at this moment is only available on our Staying Sharp content. However, we have another way to read and save your favorite articles. If you haven't already, we invite you to download the AARP Publications app: aarp.org/publications-app

We appreciate your feedback as we're always looking for ways to improve. - Diana G.

In addition to the frustration of not having the ability to save articles...often times when I read on Staying Sharp articles on my phone, the save option icon is there but when I click it on it won't highlight...therefore, won't save.  You really need an overhaul on your website and phone app

@DebG309996  I'm sorry you're having trouble. Are you on the Staying Sharp mobile app? The Staying Sharp app is optimized for small-screen devices (phones and tablets), and is compatible with iOS devices 14.2 and above - Most devices running Android Oreo 8.0 and above. I recommend uninstalling it and reinstalling it to update the app. Please let me know if I can help!  Jodee R.

Why is the ability to "save to favorites" only for "staying sharp" content? While we're on the subject, how do I find things I've saved to favorites from "staying sharp"?

@JasperLamarCrabb Thank you for reaching out! I'm sorry, I don't have info about why the ability to save to favorites is only for Staying Sharp content. I have taken note of your comment for our team to review. When you log in to the Staying Sharp website (https://stayingsharp.aarp.org/?cmp=SNO-LITHIUM---&socialid=15183509183), in the upper right corner of the screen you should see your name, directly to the left of your name there should be the button for "My Favorites". You can click the "My Favorites" button to view the list or check out this direct link: https://stayingsharp.aarp.org/my-list/ ?cmp=SNO-LITHIUM---&socialid=15183509183; - Janelle M.

At 61, with macular degeneration, reading articles on my little phone is not feasible.  Thanks anyway.  Just something to put in the pot to thing about.
