Rewards Message NOT TRUE
The message posted online when you try to access the Rewards menu is NOT true: it says you can continue to earn rewards while there are technical repairs going on. You cannot! I was only able to access the rewards menu to select "earn rewards" for about 20 minutes on one occasion during the last two+ weeks. It is frustrating AARP continues to post erroneous messages. It is strange this problem is taking this long to resolve.

Agree! It's impossible to earn reward points when we can't even access the reward pages! If this is the best AARP can do with their rewards program... I'm wondering how well AARP does with everything else it does... JUST SAYIN'
"You can still complete earn activities and continue to accumulate points during this time."

RiverBoatAndrew While you won’t be able to log in to access our comprehensive Earn list which provides a list of all point-eligible activities, you can still earn points in other ways. You can visit http://aarp.org?cmp=SNO-LITHIUM---&socialid=18189387795 and search for activities marked with the AARP Rewards badge. As long as you're logged into your AARP online account and meet the activity requirements for point earning, the points will be added to your account automatically. Once the site is back up you can review your Transaction History to view your point earnings. - Christy C.

Yes you can. It's not in a convenient list, but if you explore the website, they are there. Here is an example:

Go to the AARP rewards forum and there is a post where people are listing places to earn points.

only a few activities are offered, far less than the 25-30 items we might normally use on a daily basis and if they are only throwing us morsels every few days we will never get our daily points and asking them to give it seems to be hit and miss. Especially if we would be calling in now 11 days to get it. And can't use it.

[9/11/25] @lminihansen , did you see the links @AARPTeri posted for us to use to earn points? AARP had also sent out an email with more links. IF you are "subscribed" to the Rewards Newsletter (an email EVERY Tuesday & Friday) MORE links in those too. Take care, Nicole!

Actually I agree with Carolyn below. What you find easy and convenient is not for me. I earned only once for subscribing to a newsletter I do not even want. I prefer to watch informative videos I can learn from. Also I cannot redeem what I earned. This has really been going on too long. Either there is an accessible rewards program or there isnt.

[9/12/25] Lol @lminihansen , I DIDNOT say it was "easy" for me. This whole thing is a pain & AARP needs to release a Press Release to be "transparent" about WHY the AARP Rewards Site "crashed" & still DOWN. Today is day number 12. Take care, Nicole!

[9/12/25] You are welcome @lminihansen 💛. Keep in mind while we can still earn, the AARP Rewards Site does take "frequent" Coffee Breaks (lol - NOT cooperating with members) = step away & take your Coffee Break = try AGAIN. Good luck my friend, Nicole!

The odd and assorted places you say are available are not convenient. I am like the 80 and still working group and do not have time to hop all over the place to earn my points. Pre this "technical" fix I could hop on and earn my points in 30 minutes each day. AARP needs give a link to where points can be earned in that lengthy message they had time to put on the rewards page. That message reads as though there is a place, not "places" but a "place." They should also give us a link to get half day's points for each day earning rewards is not available.

[9/11/25] Unfortunately Carolyn @CarolynR698855 , it is the way things are until AARP fixes their Rewards Site. Take care, Nicole!
