As of today, September 5th, I've still not been able to earn any points via quizzes or videos... going on 6 days now, I believe. Recently, I was able earn a few hundred points doing certain Games such as Today's Hurdle and the Daily Crossword.
Today's email from the AARP Rewards Program did have some links for earning points by doing quizzes and watching videos, but there was no "badge" and none of them awarded me any points after completion.
There was a statement at the end of the above-mentioned email that was totally ironic, and which AARP's IT staff would do well to emulate:
"It's easy to put off doing today what you'll wish you had done tomorrow. We all do it. That's why we created AARP Rewards to inspire you to learn, prepare and get ahead of whatever life has ahead."
Amen to that!

Like in a week or two? It is incredibly offensive that AARP refuses to invest in better IT -- they're happy to take our membership dues, but then apparently the money is distributed in the executive suite and not used to give members a better experience, or even a tolerable experience. You should all be ashamed.

@AARPTeri LOL, talk about rubbing salt (and yes, I'm punning there) into a wound -- first your horrible IT department lets this issue drag on into the third day, and now you're taunting us with activities we can't do. Are you mean or just clueless?

Seriously Teri, why would you post this when you have to be aware of the rewards site being down for the last 2 DAYS.
WHAT ON EARTH IS TAKING THE IT DEPARTMENT SO LONG TO FIX ?
It took Our Lord & Savior only 7 days to create heaven & earth and he rested on the seventh.
GET’ER DONE. Do or do not, there is no try
