Is anyone getting points for doing the new Word Wipe game? I've tried 3 times and haven't gotten any points/

I noticed the same thing when I first tried it. Sometimes points don't appear immediately, and logging out and back in or refreshing the rewards page can help.

I've been playing quite a few online word games lately, and it's always frustrating when you complete a puzzle but don't see the points credited. Hopefully AARP can clarify whether there's a delay or a bug with the new Word Wipe game.

Congrats! So far mine has been 26.4k, according to the stat sheet, but I enjoy doing it for keeping the mind sharp and learning new words. Have fun!

You can also wipe out same letters next to one another.
See, you’ve already progressed past your previous score. You’ll also start to learn new words as you keep playing. Try out something that you don’t think is a word, you never know, it might surprise you! It’s a great game. I keep playing it even after getting my points, since I love word games and learning new ones.

I'm aways surprised at what counts as a word in Word Wipe.

Took me another couple more months, but today I got 18,339.!

I just hit my all-time high score of 123716 and I cleared 48 levels. It takes a lot of practice to be able to clear the board in 120 seconds. It takes an insane amount of practice to clear the board in 60 seconds. The Arkadium game allows you to get two free bombs each round. Then it is a matter of forming as many 4-7 letter words as you can within the time allotted. After that, time and bomb management matters a lot. Any way I hope this helps a bit.

That is a lot., you’re right @KristBelt Here’s a fun hint if you or others don’t know it, you can link the same letters together to form your chains to clear. ( example… you see a bunch of A’s or B’s, etc..touching each other in any direction… swipe them all up in one big swoop. ). Works with all letters that are the same next to each other, and they don’t need to form a word.

New to this word game I got 1956 pts. ..You can go in any direction adding atleast 3 letters to make a word like DAD etc go quickly as the game goes fast...

Same here, @PeggyH674394 ... I have tried through the rewards games page and through the earn page link; no points rewarded, just flashes back to the wordwipe page (as recently as today, 15-Apr-2023)...

Always the same experience when new games are added to rewards games page, always...
