The note for Word Scramble says:

"If you love to make words out of random letters, then Scramble Words is for you. Give it a go and see if you can crack the leader board's top 10!"

The leaderboard for today shows top 10 scores from 54,300 to 60,000 (so far)...does that mean a player does not get points for playing unless their score is over 54,300?

I just played twice and got a score in the 30,000's, which is way under the top 10 scores...is that why I didn't get points the first time I played. But then I clicked "play again", got another score in the 30,000's, and did get points. I am so confused.

Well this is 3 days into the    โ€œComing Soon: A New AARP Online Community Experienceโ€ and so far no noticeable difference. Was hoping to see some wonderful changes to warrant renovating our (well theirs) community forum.

Maybe they just need more time

Fyi AARP Teri @AARPTeri , please DONOT "delete" this thread = we need ONE SPOT to "report" Earn Issues instead of CREATING a "new" thread everytime we encounter one.

Thanks,

Nicole ๐Ÿ’›๐Ÿค—

Thank you for creating this space to report...I played CodeWord twice today and didn't get any points.

Thanks for "joining" us @KristBelt !!! ๐Ÿ‘๐ŸŽ‰

I am HOPING once they get this AARP Community Board UPDATED this month (August 2026), they will do the SAME for their Rewards Site & games. ๐Ÿคž๐Ÿคž

I know this all costs MEGA dollars & budgets play a big part in their plans.

Take care my friend,

Nicole ๐Ÿค—๐Ÿ’›

I agree. Don't delete this thread!

For the entire month of July and most days in 2026 I have played Codeword and have not received points. I've done the same with Outspell where I will receive a message that states I will not receive points because I have already played the game, which is untrue.

I am constantly logging out and logging back in even if the site shows that I am logged in because my points for walking 5000+ and 10,000+ steps aren't being continually rewarded. Logging back in helps only some of the time.

I'd think that AARP would understand that frustration and aggravation are not beneficial to good health.

Besides no points awarded, at least for me, there was no link to the article (Read this article) they wanted us to read in association with the topic.

Hi @Vexed , lol - I NEVER "read" the articles & just CLICK through the quizzes every month.

The only ones I actually do are the NEW ONES. Some are really interesting & I have learn't stuff.

But to do it AGAIN, nope!

It is an "easy" way to earn points & I am all set once I "click" through the 11 pages. Then I take a "break" from EARNING until NEXT MONTH. ๐Ÿ–

Use to do VIDEOS, not anymore. Boring & tie up my phone & wifi.

Take care my friend,

Nicole ๐Ÿค—๐Ÿ’›

Lol. @SummerOnTheWay1 . I don't read them either ( would have to be verrrrryyyy interesting). However, an error is an error and any found should be mentioned.

@Vexed , hopefully someone "fixes" the errors. Not sure how to go about this. Well, we will see IF "our" posts accomplish anything. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Take care my friend,

The following QUIZ does NOT have the "red earn" badge.

โžก๏ธ[*** Family & Relationships.

Quiz: How to Make Friends as an Older Adult.

Review our list of how to make social connections. Then take a quiz.
