Currently there are not any gift cards offered in the catalog (2/13/2025) but be aware

JOANN FABRICS has filed bankruptcy. Closing over 500 stores and chances are their AARP gift cards will not be accepted

I stopped by my local Joann store this morning.  It is one that is closing, but they are accepting gift cards until February 28.  Not sure what is happening at the stores that aren't closing.

Just saw this:  Going-out-of-business sales are expected to start on Saturday and could continue for several months, Joann said. Gift cards are still being accepted for in-store purchases, but not online shopping.

But I will try to use my gift cards as soon as I can.

Thanks for the heads up. I knew about the bankruptcy but hadn't heard about the store closings. checked the list and there are some by me, so I'll need to see if I can still use my gift cards in the next few days.

Michaels had supposedly gone out biz here. Sold off everything, closed store. Lol, then I noticed they are back!!!

What's going on with retail is that they are paying their too-many employees way too much to hide from customers, so that they don't be bothered. And these can't even keep the shelves in order or be nice to customers.
