Just keep it simple 🤔

In the search box "do not use any ' +  or  - "  before or after the item you are searching for.

There was a 'special phrase that one of regular users had worked out' that could uncover a somewhat 'secret menu of - gift cards for points only' that held not easily found gift cards in the regular catalog; that used " - "  and spaces.  For now - just text plain  'Amazon' in the search box if you want to see all of Amazon gift cards/ Sweeps/ Instant Wins.

Most of us use the 'filters' of about 5 types that gives us a good simple view of what we really need and want. And we are talking about using the search box from " AARP Rewards " :

(not the search box at the very top of Rewards page)

- just below your Rewards Balance

- Browse Rewards - Home ---> go to sub-menu

Redeem Rewards -----> sub-menu ---> click on  All Rewards

- now use the Filter By ---->  sub-menu

Dining /  Grocery/ Drugstore /  Retail /  Sweeps & Instant Wins

- Redemption type ----> For Points

        Or

- for very specific item - (without Filters on )

- simply text " Amazon "  =  no   +  or  -   "  is used

  😎  Just keep it simple

Thanks for the reply to my post.
I have been using this string in the search bar for a while to filter out every thing BUT the points only gift cards.

it has been working just fine but was wanting to play around with the (+ AND or) search operators that are explained in Google but no luck with AARP’s reward site.

you mentioned in your reply   billD & Mark

billD is my dad & he was not getting any replies, in the tips forum so I posted to the activities forum to help him contact more members to his topic.

I removed everything but the search string and still get the HTML message. I guess they don’t want me sending you this message
